Sunday Confessions! Headaches, holes, Go On and obliviousness.

Hallo meine Lieben,

I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday. I am linking up with fabulous Alyx from Every Day Is A New Adventure and it would be awesome if you would do so too.

1. I am having a monster headache for two days and I can't tell you how annoying that is. I just want to get rid of it but I don't know how. Usually I only get a headache when I don't drink enough but that's definitely not the case.

2. Sometimes I just want to crawl away into a hole and not come back out.

3. I am totally addicted to Go On and I really hope they won't cancel that  show.

                                                                                              source

4. Sometimes I go somewhere in order to do something but when I am there I forgot what I wanted to do.

5. I can watch the bloodiest horror movies and I can read the most frightening crime novels but I can't stand watching movies or documentaries about war. They scare me so much.

What do you have to confess? Have a lovely Sunday, my friends!

Ten On Tuesday! Merle, vegan fish, cotton candy and bored to death.

Hallo meine Lieben,

I am linking up with fabulous Lin from Linny's Vault to share some random things with you.

Warning. Contains a Walking Dead spoiler.

1. I always say "Breaking Bad" when I want to talk about "Walking Dead". I don't know why. But now David calls that show Walking Bad.

2. So glad that Merle is back! I love his awesome knife hand. Very impressive.

                                                                                             source

3. I think that The Governor is pure evil. David thinks that he just wants to protect his community. What do you think?

4. I  want to try some vegan fish. Any experiences with that? Recommendations? I have read about vegan scampi but I never liked scampi so I guess I skip that. But you can get vegan fish filet or vegan tuna. I honestly don't remember how fish or meat tastes like. And that's good.

5. Vanilla and chili is a pretty awesome combination for a sauce.

6. The next show I want to check out is "Bored to death".  Jason Schwartzman as a struggling writer pretends to be a private detective. Sounds like my kind of show.

                                                                                              source

7. Someday I will build my own book shelf. I already have a pretty cool design in mind.

8. I want to smell like cotton candy after I showered. I don't eat it but it smells really cool. Thanks Lush!

                                                                                             source

9. America definitely needs some new power lines.

10. Thank you again for reading, my friends. I can't thank you enough! You guys are awesome! And thanks to David for always supporting me and being there for me! Love you!

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Sunday Confessions. Alcohol, chocolate spread and an awesome bird.

Hallo meine Lieben,

I hope you are all having a fabulous Sunday! I am linking up with fantastic Alyx at Every Day Is A New Adventure for some confessions. Come and join the fun!

Confession #1.

I think this is pretty funny. But no, I never really get drunk because it makes me feel so bad.

                                                                                                  source

Confession #2.
I am the bird whisperer. A dove sat on my leg and let me feed him/her. I can't tell you how excited I was. And still am. I mean, aren't bird usually pretty shy?
Here's the proof.

Confession #3.

It would be awesome if the bird would come back and visit me every day.

Confession #4.

I have a pretty annoying ear worm. "We made it" by Eminem. I can't get rid of it. What exactly is the difference between Rap and Hip Hop? I am not an expert for that kind of music.

Confession #5.

I got a vegan chocolate spread and now I eat that and the almond spread for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. I have a sweet tooth.

Have a lovely Sunday, my friends!

Hoch soll er leben!

Hallo meine Lieben,

Random Thursday. All things Halloween.

Hallo meine Lieben,

Halloween is a huge deal in America. It isn't as big in Germany which is kind of sad because I really love that tradition. I love everything spooky and I love to see kids going from house to house to collect candy. I would have loved that as a kid.
The topic of this week's Random Thursday is....

And I am linking up with these lovely ladies....come join the fun!

There are many many things that I love about Halloween. I don't even know where to start because it is such a fantastic day. Sad thing is that in America November 1 is not a holiday. In Germany it is. Point for Germany. America should really make that day a holiday.

                                                                       source

Black cats are fantastic! I guess my friend Miki would agree on that! So I love the fact that black cats play such an important role at Halloween. They definitely don't mean misfortune or anything like that.
I have read recently that black cats often get abused or sacrificed around Halloween. I can't believe this world sometimes. So please take care of your cats. All cats. And all other animals.

Lumpi says hi!

I love all the Halloween colors. Black, purple, orange...what a great combination. We got a fantastic Halloween light string. It creates a pretty cool atmosphere. I guess I would decorate the house in the Halloween style all year round....spiders, skulls, candles, tomb stones etc. That would be fun.

Another thing I love about Halloween: Haunted Houses. Last year was a premiere, I never went to one before. It was fantastic but also very scary. David promised me that the zombies, chainsaw guys, ghosts, mass murderers etc would not touch you in there. But sure, they did. I was the victim of some really mean attacks. I had to follow a creepy looking guy over an underground cemetery in a haunted cave just to be followed by a zombie with a chainsaw. Not so nice. One guy stole my hat, another one grabbed my ankle when I walked over a bridge in the complete dark.

I am also a huge fan of pumpkin soup. And jack-o-lanterns. And ghosts, ghouls, zombies, candy, bats and of course, horror movies!. I need Halloween all year round!

What do you love about Halloween? What is your favorite horror movie?

Ten On Tuesday! Ghosts I love the most and awesome soap.

Hallo meine Lieben,

time for some random Ten On Tuesday! I am linking up with fabulous Lin from Linny's Vault!

1. I love spending time in Irish pubs. I am not really into fancy, clean, stylish bars. Pubs are so much better. They usually have good music and good beer.  Plus it is pretty dark in there.

2. A perfect song for an evening in a pub is "Piano Man" by Billy Joel. Always makes me feel like I am in a pub.

3. I also like to sing that song while I drive. Very loud. The lyrics are pretty awesome.

4. These are some of my favorite lyrics.

" Tender is the ghost.
The ghost I love the most."

How brilliant is that? Thank you Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon.

                                                                                                 source

5. I love to eat my almond spread with a spoon. Directly out of the jar. Without bread. So yummy.

6. I started to watch The Walking Dead last night but fell asleep because I was so tired. I have to watch it again today. I am so excited to see what happens. I woke up and saw Carol doing something weird. So I really have to find out as soon as possible.

7. I am planning on making pancakes soon. I got some egg replacement last week and I want to see how that works. I usually just don't use eggs at all when I make pancakes but I want to give that stuff a try and see how it tastes.

8. I need that soap. Thank you, Lush!

9. Perfect wake-up song from the 70's. Loved it as a kid. Guten Morgen, Sonnenschein. Good morning, sunshine.

10. There will be new books by Yrsa Sigurdadottir and Arnaldur Indridason next month. A very Icelandic month. I am excited.

Plus: My husband rocks!

Okay my lovelies! I hope you are all having a fabulous week! I need to go and eat some more almond spread now!
