I hope you are all having a wonderful time! 2013 is almost over but I hope that the last days of the year are fantastic for you and that all your dreams will come true in 2014. But let's talk about some anti-resolutions. The things we don't want to do in 2014.
Start eating meat.
I don't know what my life will bring but I know for sure that I will never ever eat meat again. Becoming vegan was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Swim in the ocean.
I am way too scared of deep water so I know that I don't want to go swimming in a deep ocean. No thank you. I went rafting once and it scared me so much and I think I have enough of deep water for the next couple of years.
Become a fan of onions.
That stuff is evil. I am willing to try all kinds of food (as long as it is vegan) but I think I will never become a friend of onions. I know that David loves them and I feel sorry for him but I tried but I just can't enjoy them.
Stop buying books.
That will never happen. As I said, I don't know what life will bring but my love for books will never stop! Reading is one of my favorite things to do, it helps me relax and makes me happy so why would I ever stop.
Wear white boots.
They just look trashy. Can't help myself. I could not even find a picture of white boots on Pinterest so I guess that says everything. I love shoes but please no white heels.
What are your anti-resolutions? I hope your 2014 will be fantastic!
Thanks for reading!
Haha, I can agree to most of yours. Next year I am 19 years meat free :)
ReplyDeleteNext year I won't buy lots of rubbish that I don't need, and I won't give up on studies!
19 years! That is awesome. :))
DeleteI agree on your anti-resolutions!
Happy Holidays! I won't be cutting my hair anymore!
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays! Hope it was fantastic! Good luck with your hair!
DeleteI need to carve out time to do this linkup today--I love this topic! I definitely won't eat meat or dairy, won't eat too many sweets, won't spend too much money, and won't spend tons of time on the internet when I could be reading.
ReplyDeleteHere are some white go-go boots for you: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/573012752559866478/ I would only ever wear these if I was doing a Halloween costume for the 60s and had the big wig and eyeliner and whatnot to go with. For everyday, no. Plus, think of how quickly they'd get dirty!!!!
I agree on your anti-resolutions, Martha!
DeleteAnd haha, thanks so much for the boots! I need to order those as soon as possible. :) They would definitely be good for a Halloween costume but nothing I would wear every day!
This ist Fun! I won't stop knitting!! Haha
ReplyDeleteAnd I want to do some more knitting and learn how to crochet! Have a happy 2014, friend!
DeleteWhite boots?! Who would be so ridiculous as to wear those? They'd be filthy after the first time you wore them out!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year, Katrin!!
Yeah, I agree on the boots. Just don't understand it!
DeleteHave a happy 2014, Sarah!
Haha. I love the idea of anti-resolutions. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou should make some too! :) Have a happy 2014, friend!
DeleteStopping buying books is NEVER going to happen... it's physically impossible ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt really is! I 100% agree!
DeleteI won't stop posting adorable pet pictures to my social media. :) ha!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you, my friend!
xoxo
Haha, yeah, I won't do that either! :) And I am glad you don't because I love to see them!
DeleteHappy new year, my sweet friend! Hugs!
I'm scared of the ocean too! It creeps me out, not the water per se, but all of the creatures swimming about. I don't like feeling like I'm invading their territory ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha yeah, true! :) I don't know why but the water itself scares me so much! It's horrible!
DeleteHave a fantastic New Year's Eve, mon amie!
haha I love this! I only like onions if they are cooked- a lot. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI will never understand how people can like raw onions! :) Glad you like the post!
DeleteHahahaha this post is great! I totally agree with all the anti-resolutions :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!!
xoxo
Glad you liked the post! Happy new year to you as well! Thanks so much for stopping by!
DeleteI'm with you on the NYE resolutions as well - happy new year!
ReplyDeleteGlad you agree! :) Happy new year to you as well!
DeleteWhat an interesting list of anti-resolutions! I’ve never seen a post on these before…but I agree with a few - swim in the ocean, stop buying books and wearing white boots. Haha, yes, wearing white boots are super trashy and get dirty! I still love that Stella McCartney platform white heeled boots, but can’t imagine wearing a 1k pair of shoes with white heels! Have a fabulous 2014!
ReplyDeleteI loved the idea of anti-resolutions as well. :) White heeled boots from Stella McCartney sound fantastic. I just don't want to wear these cheap-looking completely white hooker boots. :)
