I hope you are all having a fantastic week! You can link up with Alyssa here.
I am sorry for the lack of posts and commenting recently. I just don't find as much time as I want to for blogging right now. I hope this will change soon and you'll stick around.
1. I really need to get an appointment with my hair stylist. As soon as possible. I don't even want to look into the mirror anymore. My hair is too long and is in desperate need of a cut. What I have now is not really a cut anymore. It's time.
2. Last Friday I was able to meet the babies of two of my friends. Jasper and Klara. Jasper is 5 weeks old and Klara was born in July. Both really cute and one of them really loud.
3. My newest addiction: Christmas Cats TV. A Grandma, an elf and adorable cats to adopt. Which makes me want to adopt all of them. I wish I could. You can adopt the cats from North Shore Animal League, a no-kill animal rescue.
4. I don't like Beyonce. She pretends to be on a vegan diet, wears shoes made of anaconda, crocodile and stingray and is a huge fan or fur coats. Do I have to add anything else? I don't think so.
5. I ate 21 clementines and a bag of gummi bears in the last 36 hours.
6. Two things I want to learn in 2014: crocheting and sewing.
7. "Crocheting" is a mean word. Also "vehicle". Never know how to say that one. But I guess some German words can be mean too. Like "Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz". Which is a word but nobody uses it. Thank god.
8. I am not sure if David would appreciate this as a Christmas gift.
10. After a 2 week break I finally watched an episode of Criminal Minds again. I tried to catch up with all the other shows I watch but I need at least 3 episodes of Criminal Minds a week. Life without it just isn't possible.
Have a happy Tuesday and a fantastic week!
man! what Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz" means anyway?
ReplyDeleteI am not sure what exactly it means but it is a law and it has to do with the meat industry. So it is something stupid!
DeleteHaha, Wessenwolf!
ReplyDeleteThat law doesn't exist any more, so no need to use the word ;-) http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-22762040
21 clementines? I think I would explode...
Hehe, so glad you like the joke. :)
DeleteYou are right, the law does not exist anymore. I have read about it too! I am sure there are lots of other mean words.
The clementines were pretty small. :D
21 clementines?? You must have been hungry! :P But I do really like those, I probably eat about 1 a day!
ReplyDeleteI guess I was not very hungry, I just really like to eat them. :)
DeleteI also need a haircut rather desperately. Are you going to do anything drastic?
ReplyDeleteMy bangs look horrible but I also want my hair shorter. It is getting my too long for my taste!
DeleteI've been wanting to buy that how to be German poster for my room!
ReplyDeleteHaha, it is sooo awesome! :) I want a poster too!
Deleteyou should totally get David the "How to be German" book! hahaha, I love it!
ReplyDeleteI am sure he would appreciate it a lot. :D
DeleteWhat a tongue twister of a word! That little book is hilarious. I don't know if I could eat all those clementines, but the gummi bears sound good--I'm still trying to find a vegan version at the local grocery stores.
ReplyDeleteIt really is a tongue twister. Gladly you don't really use it!
DeleteDamn, I should have thought about sending you some vegan gummi bears! Next time, I promise!
That German word is crazy!!!! Haha. What does it mean???
ReplyDeleteIt's a law and it was used in the meat industry. I have no idea what exactly it stands for. :)
DeleteHave you seen the funny YouTube videos about German pronunciation of some words --- it's hilarious. I'll have to find it and send you a link...
ReplyDeleteNo, I have not! They sound awesome! Please send me a link! :)
DeleteNumber nine has me laughing... my college sweetheart was Romanian and whenever he was talking on the phone to his mother it always sounded like he was angry! Languages are funny :)
ReplyDeleteHappy that I was able to make you laugh! :) Haha, you are right, Romanians sound angry too! :) Languages are really funny!
DeleteIf people think Deutsche Bahn is right on time they'll be in for a rude awakening when they try to get anywhere with it, particularly during Fasching lol.
ReplyDeleteI agree. :) I often had to take the Deutsche Bahn to get to work or uni and it was late most of the time!
DeleteSorry to hear about your hair, I love long hair, but it’s nice to have some layered hair. I’m getting tired of my ombre hair also, I’m considering some bright highlights (purple or neon color). Wow, 21 clementines and a bag of gummi bears?! I <3 clementines, they are addicting!
ReplyDeleteI am sure bright highlights would look awesome on you! You should totally go for it!
DeleteAnd yes, they really are addicting! I need to get some more tomorrow!
Number nine is HILARIOUS! You are too funny!
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a hair cut in seven months, so I feel your pain. It's time for me, too!
I am glad you like it Sarah! :) Thank you!
DeleteGood to know that I am not the only one! But your hair definitely looks better than mine! :D
