welcome to a late Ten On Tuesday. I was way too busy yesterday for any kind of blogging. I hope you are having a fantastic week! You can link up with lovely Alyssa here.
1. If you want to see a guy and his otter friend who lives in his backyard then you need to click here. Otters make the funniest noises by the way. And the otter's name is Iivari.
2. I want to learn Finnish now.
3. Yesterday really wasn't my day. I woke up in the middle of the night and wanted to check on the bunnies. On my way there I stepped into what the cat must have thrown up at some point at night - only wearing socks. So I took off my own sock and walked downstairs to get paper towels. I slipped on the last step of the stairs and almost broke my neck. When I wanted to take the paper towels out of the bathroom closet I knocked over a pack of 250 cotton sticks which I had to gather up from the bathroom floor in the middle of the night accompanied by two cats who really enjoyed playing with cotton sticks. That's my life.
4. Moone Boy is one of the funniest shows I have ever seen in my entire life. I can't wait for the next season. I really can't. And if you have not watched this show yet then I am telling you that you HAVE TO. I mean it.
5. Which reminds me of another show that is freaking perfect. Black Books. Manny rules.
6. I am currently craving coconut milk cookie dough ice cream.
7. I have a strange obsession with crime documentaries. Last weekend I watched one about Columbine, one about Jeffrey Dahmer, one about John Wayne Gacy and one about the Highway of Tears. I am planning to watch more this weekend. Any recommendations?
8. Did you watch the How I Met Your Mother finale? What are your thoughts? I don't want to say anything right now since I don't want to spoil it for you but please leave your impressions in the comments.
9. True.
10. Something cute because that is what I need.
I am sorry for the lack of posts right now. I am also sorry for not being able to come up with something great right now. It will get better. I promise.
Have a fantastic day!
3. Your life sounds like mine right now! Sometimes you just have to laugh so you don't cry!
ReplyDelete7. Oh. my. gah. We are soul mates. I watch those too. I'm actually really relieved I'm not the only one. Search the Gainesville Ripper!
I SINCERELY hope your day gets better. And as always, thank you for linking up!
3. Agreed! You always need to see things from the positive side. I mean, I did not actually break my neck. :)
Delete7. I am relieved too! :)) Haha. Good to know that I am not the only one who watches weird stuff! Just found a Gainesville Ripper documentary and I will watch it tonight! Thanks dear!
Thank you, Alyssa!
Hi Katrin!
ReplyDeleteThe otter Iivari is really so cute! thanks for sharing the lovely video :)
the goats are just so sweet! I love baby goats and I wonder how can anyone cook and eat them...yucks :X
Hi Ankita!
DeleteYou are welcome. I am happy you like all the cuteness! I will never understand how people can eat these cute animals either!
Have a great weekend!
The cat puked part sounds so very familiar! Especially the slipping and almost breaking your neck part! Hope all is well! Hugs xxx
ReplyDeleteOh no, sorry that things like that happen to you too! This wasn't my first time. Haha. Have a great weekend! Hugs!
Deletesorry you had a bad night the other day, just think it's almost the weekend! cookie dough sounds really good right now.. yum!
ReplyDeleteI survived so it is fine. :) Thank you! I really need to get some ice cream for the weekend!
DeleteOh man, yes times a million to #9!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's so true!
DeleteThere are otters in Karlsruhe zoo. They really do make funny noises.
ReplyDeleteI just borrowed Black Books from my neighbour, but haven't watched it yet.
So cute. :) I did not know that they can sound so funny!
DeleteOh, you will love it! Trust me! It is sooooooo good!
Hi! You are so funny. I miss you! I haven't been blogging much either, but it is fun to catch up with you here for a minute! Where do you find those shows?
ReplyDeletexoxo
I miss you too, Kari! It is always good to catch up with you! I think you can find Moone Boy on youtube. The show really is so good! Another good one is "Family Tree" also with Chris O'Dowd. I don't know if Black Books is on Netflix...it is a British show. I am sure you would enjoy them too! Hugs!
Delete#3 sounds like something I would do! The other day for me it was packing peanuts, which Jiao just ADORES. She had them all over the house before I could grab her!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I can imagine! :) So funny that she likes peanuts! But yeah, seems like I am not the only one with bad luck!
DeleteThat otter is an absolute cuteness overload - I love that video so much! I want to watch it again and again :)
ReplyDeleteI want to speak Finnish now, too, so I can understand what the nice man says :)
Oh no, your night sounds like one of those nights you'd rather like to forget...or after time passes you'll be able to just smile about it :)
Coconut milk cookie dough ice-cream sounds fantastic to me, I want some please :)
Those goats are so cute :)
Ich drücke Dich ganz feste liebe Katrin und hoffe, es geht Dir gut! :)
I have watched the video 3 times so far, it is just so cute! The noises are adorable! And Finnish sounds so cool!
DeleteLuckily I can laugh about things like the puke thing etc. :) I mean, nothing bad happened so that is fine!
I really need to get some ice cream for the weekend!
Ich druecke Dich ganz ganz dolle!
I'm so sorry to hear you fell down the stairs (along with so many other bad things)!! That happened to me a couple of weeks ago, and it's really scary. Are you okay??
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of Moone Boy before, but it's on my "must check out" list. (see what I did there?)
LOVE Black Books. Just finished re-watching it, actually!
Hmmmm, I don't really know of any crime documentaries, just shows. A few new ones I've been watching (or want to watch): Bosch, Longmire, Those Who Kill, True Detective and Chicago PD.
I did watch the finale. I ended up feeling pretty "meh" about it. I liked the end to Barney's story, but the Ted ending I didn't care for. It made it seem like the mother didn't even matter, after all of that. I think partly because they squished so much into one episode that it felt like things happened one after another too quickly to make emotional sense of.
AGREED. For both 9 + 10!
You are so sweet, thank you! I am totally okay. Things like that happen to me all the time but I never get seriously hurt. So I consider that as good luck! Sorry you also fell down the stairs! Hope you are fine?
DeleteHehe glad it is on your "must check out" list! :) I am sure you would absolutely love the show! Please let me know what you think of it when you check it out! I need to re-watch Black Books as well! I want to get the DVD box.
I have seen the first True Detective episode and liked it a lot. I need to check out the other shows you mentioned! Thanks so much!
Yeah, I am not so sure about the ending either! I loved the Barney thing! But everything felt so rushed and it was kind of weird that the mother did not matter that much. I mean, she was all Ted ever wanted and for me it did not feel like she was the one for him. I don't know.
Have a great weekend!
Oh, I am glad you are ok and didn't get hurt on the stairs...my week has also been busy and tough, my flu came back so I have been really tired but trying to keep up with uni/work! Oh well, it'll pass!
ReplyDeleteIt would be great if dogs took bad owners to the pound...
I am so sorry your flu came back, Celeste! That's a really annoying one! I hope you will feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately there are too many bad owners....
And now I'm craving coconut milk cookie dough ice cream!
ReplyDeleteHaha, yeah, it's pretty bad! Hope you can get some!
