Hallo meine Lieben,
hope you are enjoying your week! You can link up with my lovely friend Alyssa here.
1. Yesterday was the birthday of one of the most fantastic people the world has ever seen (happy birthday, David!)
2. This is so adorable and funny. Makes me smile every single time I look at it!
3. I bought the world's warmest and fuzziest socks yesterday and I could not be any happier with them. It's like walking on clouds. Really warm clouds.
4. I also found a hat to keep my ears warm which does not make me look like a complete idiot. It wasn't so easy to find it. But I succeeded.
5. Tiger agrees that my doggy socks are fantastic.
6. Lumpi loves to cuddle with his very own stuffed animal which is so cute that it melts my heart.
7. I found some pretty fantastic vegan things this week: vegan parmesan "cheese" and chocolate oat milk. The milk carton says "wow, no cow" and I love it!
8. I decided that I need to learn Icelandic and Swedish. But first of all Danish so that I am able to read the 6th Carl Mørck book and not have to wait for a German or English translations. I hate waiting.
9. I pretended to have baking skills again and made some scone-like pastries with poppy seeds, pistachios and a core of nougat. No baking talent but it still tastes delicious. (Sorry for the crappy picture quality though.)
10. My book wishlist is full of vegan cook books and baking books.
Have a great rest of the week!
Chocolate oat milk?! I've never heard of it, but it sounds delicious! I'm all about the cozy socks too. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried it yet but I am sure it's delicious! Cozy socks are the best! :)
Delete1. Happy Birthday David!
ReplyDelete2. Cute...but still...spiders...
3. Yay for warm socks!
4. I can only wear hats with my hair down, which is annoying..
5. Cute!
6. That's so cute, kitty loves stuffed toys too!
7. Ohh....Parmesan cheese!! Yum!
8. I also need to learn Icelandic, at least I can say a few things..
9. At least you bake, I don't even have an oven..
10. My book wishlist is just geeky :)
1. Thank you!
Delete2. I like spiders! :)
4. I have seen you with a hat and you look so cute. I always feel like an idiot with a hat, no matter what I do. :)
7. Will try it tonight, I hope it is good.
8. So cool you already know some Icelandic!
10. There are so many different books on mine, I doubt I can ever read all of them. :)

ReplyDeleteIt makes me laugh so much! Thank you, I could not resist! I got tiger socks as well!
DeleteSo happy you like Oatly, it's a Swedish company actually :) They recently redesigned their packaging to have those slogans on them and now the Swedish Milk Association (well lobby!) is suing them for using these slogans. It's awful actually!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I read it's Swedish! Great stuff! I love the design of the package! Stupid milk lobby! I can't believe they are suing them, so ridiculous! Thank you so much for stopping by!
DeleteI bought almond oat milk recently. It was quite tasty :-)
ReplyDeleteI was already a huge fan of almond milk and now I love oat milk as well! Glad you like it!

DeleteSaw those socks when you put them on Instagram. I love them! And if you learn new languages I definitely recommend the app Duolingo and/or Memrise. Happy birthday to David!!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you like my socks, Keith! I got some tiger socks as well! Thank you for the recommendations, I will check those out! I have never heard of Memrise before! Thanks for the birthday wishes!
DeleteYour fluffy new socks sound like heaven!
ReplyDeleteThey are heaven! Love them so much!
DeleteHow was your Halloween and David’s birthday, Katrin? Hope you had a great one with your hubb and bunnies! I love the comic strip - this is absolutely cute overload :) Your doggy socks are way cute and I saw the vegan parmesan picture earlier - was it pretty good and what did it look like? Me too, I wish I learn Swedish - my partner knows some Swedish and studied there! Mmm these scones look good, I look forward to your many baking creations!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rika. Everything was pretty quiet. :) Glad you love the comic. It makes me smile so much! I love those socks, I got tiger socks as well. The parmesan is really good. It looks like the real thing and also tastes similar I would say. I did not taste a huge difference (as far as I remember). So cool that your partner can speak some Swedish! I wish I could, I need to learn it at some point! The scones really were good, I enjoy baking a lot!
