Five Things. Black cats, pumpkins and haunted castles.

Hallo meine Lieben,

I hope you are having a wonderful time and your weekend will be fabulous.
Please check out my friend Celeste's Five Things as well.

It is almost October which means that Halloween is near so I thought I share some things related to this favorite holiday of mine.

1. This bath bomb.

I love taking a bath and I love Lush products. This one is from the limited Halloween edition and it is so fantastic. It smells like ylang-ylang and orange and it makes your bath water look really funny. Love it.

2. This black cat.

No Halloween without black cats. And of course my black cat is the best black cat in the world (all black cats rock though!).

3. This movie.

I wanted to watch this movie last Halloween but didn't. So it is definitely on my October watch-list. It looks like so much fun.

4. These cookies.

I want to give it and try and bake some fantastic cookies like these. I am not sure if I would want to eat them afterwards because they are just too pretty too eat them. Does not make any sense but I am sure you can impress people with cookies like these.

5. This haunted castle.

I would love to visit a haunted castle like this one on Halloween. Anything creepy fascinates me. So this would be the perfect thing to do. Do you know any interesting haunted houses/castles? If so, let me know, please. I would like to read about them!

What do you like about Halloween?

Have a fabulous weekend!

  1. Ok, so I went to two rather posh boarding schools, both of which were apparently haunted.

The first was in a castle, and one of the towers was always blocked off. Lots of teachers said they saw the ghost of a white lady there. I never saw a ghost but it was pretty creepy!

The second was Gordonstoun, the manor house was built by Sir Robert Gordon who was an alchemist and known as the Wizard of Gordonstoun. The story is that he made a pact with the devil and when the devil came to collect his sent his hellhounds. There is a mound at the school with three graves for the hounds. Its called dead dogs hill. Loads of other stuff...you can look it up online!

  4. LOVE!
I mean, although I am German I love all things Halloween! :-D
Carving pumpkins is one of my favorite things, besides baking and eating the typical Halloween-ish things.
God, I'd love to visit a haunted house or castle but I think I would be too scared!
But anyways I hope you will enjoy October and Halloween as much as I will and have a nice weekend!

    1. Yeah, I know that Halloween is not that popular in Germany as it is in America. How is it in Sweden? Do they celebrate it?
Craving pumpkins is so much fun! And you should go to a haunted house! I always enjoy it so much!

  8. have you seen 'a monster in paris'? it's an enjoyable animation with really wonderful music, I think you'll like it. just check out the trailer for 'hotel transylvania', it will go on my list of films to watch.

I'm not a fan of halloween and I don't celebrate it. even here, there's rarely any trick-or-treating these days. but it is a day to watch out for people who might dressed on the subway.

hope you have a great day.

  13. Did you ever go to Burg Frankenstein in Mühltal? Apparently they turn it into a haunted castle near Halloween. We were going to go until I found out they're allowed to touch people and carry them off and so on. Heck no.
