I have a confession to make....

Hallo meine Lieben,

I totally messed up posting my Sunday confessions yesterday but I guess better late than never. There are some things I need to confess...

I confess...

.... that this is true.

.... that I bought a cocoa body butter just because I want to smell like hot chocolate. Not because I needed another body butter.

.... that I feel like a little kid at Christmas when I go and visit horses and cows on my daily walk. They are just so entertaining and sweet and so thankful for the treats I bring them.

....that I don't want to think about the fact that there is only one episode of Breaking Bad left to watch.

.... that sometimes the world makes me so angry that I don't know how to handle it.

.... that I could probably spend a whole month alone in a remote cabin if I would just have a stack of books and something to eat. I really like reading.

.... that I talk to my pets. All the time. I think they understand.

.... that sometimes I want to hide under a blanket and just stay there.

What do you have to confess?

Have a wonderful week!

  2. I agree with every. single. one. So I really don't need to write my confessions, since you did it for me. I only have one question: Are your pets bilingual too, or do you pick one language to talk to them in?

    1. Haha, you are so sweet. :) Thanks for agreeing!
Actually, the pets are bilingual. I talk to them in English and German. They are pretty smart animals.

  3. Yeah. I'd like to sit and hide under a blanket too sometimes and thanks for the idea of staying in a parking lot somewhere to read in peace and quiet. I'll do that next time I need a break!!!! :)

  4. I identify with every one of these! I sadly have to admit that the other day I couldn't get any peace to finish my book at home, so I left early for a doctor's appointment and sat in the parking lot to finish reading. Which should make me feel guilty, but didn't--I needed to find out who the murderer in the book would turn out to be!

And now I'm curious too--are the pets multilingual?

    1. I would not feel guilty about this either. It is totally understandable. You have to know who the murderer was! :)

They really are bilingual. I talk to them in English and German and I know they understand both languages!

  5. I'd be more worried if you DIDN'T talk to your pets! (I take to inanimate objects... that's much more worthy of confessing).

  6. Haha, I can agree to a lot of these (although I dont watch Breaking Bad).

I sometimes think it would be nice to live in a little hut in the Himalayas with a fully stocked kindle, vegetable garden, and animals everywhere. But I would need a few friends in nearby huts :)

    1. I am sure you would enjoy Breaking Bad too!

I love the hut idea, that would definitely be my kind of thing. But I agree, it would be nice to have some friends around once in a while!

  7. I think smelling like chocolate would drive me crazy... Don't you just want to eat chocolate all the time then? Or does it have a soothing effect on the chocolate monster (if you have one)? In that case, maybe I should get myself a body butter with chocolate smell!?

    1. I have read somewhere that you should smell vanilla if you crave something sweet and then you don't want to eat chocolate, candy etc anymore. The cocoa body butter definitely does not want to make my eat chocolate. Not more than usual. :)

  8. You are so good about reading - teach me your ways! That cabin pretty much sounds like my hell but I so wish I could relish in somethign like that.

    1. I wish I would have more time to read. I am really not very good at it right now. I used to read a lot more books.
Haha, yeah, I guess the cabin idea would be pretty horrible for most people but I really think I would enjoy it for a while! I guess I am weird.
