Five Things. A snail parade, impressive travels and horrifying advertisement.

Hallo meine Lieben,

happy Friday! I hope you will all have a weekend full of happiness! Please check out my friend Celeste's Five Things as well.

1. These fantastic snail pictures are absolutely beautiful. It gives me joy to look at them. That is why I always pick up snails from the street and bring them to a save place.

2. This story of a guy who traveled to all the countries in the world. Without using a plane.

3. This stupid pizza chain wants to promote their "rabbit pizza" by covering a billboard with hundreds of dead rabbits. What is wrong with this world?

4. I really need a house where I have lots of space for all the books and book shelves I adore. I would add this one to my collection.

5. My plan for the weekend is to make some vegan peanut butter chocolate chips cookies. What are your plans?

Have a wonderful Easter weekend!

  2. That billboard is really sad and creepy. Why would you do something like that?
Love that bookshelf - just really awesome...
We are going to color Easter eggs today and maybe do a little shopping. Tonight I'm sneaking out to play Easter bunny and will stuff a ton of eggs for our little Easter egg hunt in the morning! :)

    1. I really have no idea how people can come up with such an idea. It is horrible!
And I agree, art and storage space at the same time is definitely a great thing!
The cookies are soooo good! I can't stop eating them and I think I need to bake them again tomorrow!

  4. oh yeah, definitely the book shelf for me too, although I think it's too stylish for me as I prefer more simple furniture.

hope you have a great day.

    1. I usually prefer more simple furniture as well but I could make an exception for this one!

      Have a great week, Lissa!

  8. Those snail pictures are so adorable! I love snails - I'm always a happy girl when I find some in summer :) And I always carry them out of the way, too!
Oh wow, I'm so impressed by this guy who travelled all countries without a plane! What an amazing story, thank you so much for sharing!
The rabbit promotion makes me so sick that my lunch just got stuck in my throat. I can't believe it! I hope nobody will buy that pizza!!
What a cute bookshelf! I want a house full of books, too! :)
Those cookies sound awesome! Peanut butter and chocolate are the best combination ever.
My plans today are editing vacation pics and writing my paper for school. Not so exciting, but the past 10 days were exciting, now it's back to school and work life.
I hope you're having a wonderful Easter weekend!
Ich drücke Dich ganz feste, liebe Katrin.

    1. Yay, you are a snail hero! I knew it! :) Love that! Those pictures are so fascinating! And they make me smile so much!
I am so impressed by that guy too. I doubt I could ever do that! I would love to see that documentary they talk about!
I really hope that nobody will buy that pizza and that people will speak their mind about the billboard!
The cookies turned out great! I can't stop eating which is why they are almost gone and I need to bake some more soon!
Have fun editing vacation pics, can't wait to see some.. :) The paper does not sound that exciting but I am sure you will do great!
      Have a fantastic week!
      Ich drueck Dich ganz dolle!

  9. Wow on #2, without using a plane? That’s crazy…I’m not a huge fan of ships or boats or crossing the sea in them ;( That billboard is insane…did you read about the Whole Foods “tattoo” on a dead pig as well? It’s cruel! Vegan pb chocolate chips sound so good, we made them for our long flights and gluten-free ;) Check out the back of the Trader Joes’ GF Rolled Oats package, they have awesome recipe on these GF cookies!

That billboard really is insane! No, I did not hear about the Whole Foods story! I need to look that up! I only read about the "artist" who tatooed pigs! How horrible is that!
I will check out those recipes, thank you, Rika!

  11. I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian so I always feel like I don't have much of a right to preach about animal cruelty, but that billboard is beyond horrible! I don't understand why anyone, let alone a group of people (I'm sure more than one person at the company would have had to sign off on the idea) would be OK with hanging that billboard. It's cruel and disgusting.

    1. You have every right to preach...in fact, everybody should. This is just a horrible and cruel way to advertise and people should be aware of things like that. I really don't understand how people can do something like this...sad world.
