A lazy squirrel, some weekend thoughts and a quote.

Hallo meine Lieben,

I have to apologize for not posting that much. I am really sorry but I hope you are all enjoying your weekend and doing fine. I need to make some more time for blogging.

I squeezed in some time today to bake my first scones ever - vegan apricot scones to be precise. And they actually did not turn out horrible. They are probably not the prettiest scones the world has ever seen but they taste so good that I am planning to experiment some more and perfect my scone baking skills. How many scones can you eat before you start to feel sick? I think I will find out tonight.

What's your favorite comedy of all time? I feel like watching a movie which will make me laugh a lot. But I cannot find one which I want to watch and haven't already seen 5 times.
I am sticking to my workout routine. I skipped Friday but I worked out every other day of the week so far. Which helps not making me feel so bad about eating too many scones.

I hate folding laundry. But that's another thing I have to do this weekend. What I hate even more is ironing.

Here is something cute for you. Trust me, I could spend hours looking at pictures and videos on Cute Overload. Best site ever.

I am planning to be back with some more posts next week but for now I just want to share a quote with you which really touched my heart.

What are you up to this weekend? Have a wonderful time and talk more soon!

  1. Yes, laundry is pretty much the worst. I don't iron anything (don't even own an iron), just throw it back in the laundry heap and into the dryer it goes

    1. I do not iron either. Well, I have two blouses that need ironing but that's it. I hate it so much!

  2. I also hate ironing. Jan has to do his own ironing... I just try to buy clothes that are naturally wrinkle free or supposed to be wrinkled ;-)

    1. Yeah, that is how I do it too. :) Ironing sucks so much! I have two blouses that need ironing but I usually avoid to wear them. :)

  3. I'm sorry you don't have much time for blogging, usually if you don't have time for blogging it means you are just too busy in general!! Miss you! xx

  6. Vegan apricot scones sound delicious, I would love to see a picture of them! I haven’t watched any comedies lately except for the show, ‘Undateable’, which is somewhat funny. I enjoy doing the laundry (haha). Hope you had a great weekend, Katrin!

    1. I posted a picture on Instagram but it is not very good. I will make them again and then take some better pictures. I really like scones! I have heard of Undateable! I might have to check it out! Do you enjoy ironing as well? :) I prefer any other chore just that I do not have to iron! Have a fantastic week, Rika! <3
