The one where I need to learn Danish because I cannot wait four long months for a book. {Ten On Tuesday}

Hallo meine Lieben,

happy Tuesday! You can link up with Alyssa here.

1. I am a bad blogger at the moment but I am hoping that will change soon.

2. Today I found out that I have to wait until April 1 for the German translation of the latest Carl Mørck novel by Jussi Adler-Olsen. I don't know if I can wait that long. The lady in the book store told me it would be February. But April 1? I guess I need to learn Danish after all. And I am not sure about the English edition.

3. I am cold. Just cold. I need more blankets, more hot water bottles and something to keep my damn hands warm.

4. I love hedgehogs.

5. Last weekend I made gingerbread men shaped peanut butter chocolate chip and poppy seed cookies which all lost their legs or arms trying to get them out of the baking pan. well, except of one. I guess the dough was too crumbly. I won't give up and try again.  I need to make real gingerbread men. I love vegan baking.

6. I recently discovered Wills Vegan Shoes aka shoe heaven for animal lovers. Look how cute these are.

7. Last week I yelled at a rude and heartless woman at the vet's office. I should have yelled even more. Sometimes I am too polite.

8. Lumpi is so incredibly cute. He loves his teddy and his blanket.

9. A humane future. Check it out here. I hope we will be able to achieve this. One can dream.

10. I am thankful for the person who invented Vego bars. That was a fantastic idea. She/he is in my vegan cool book.

Hope you are having a wonderful week! Thanks for reading.

    1. Lumpi really is a sweetheart! He always makes me smile!

Well, I was waiting with Tiffie at the vet to get his teeth cut. We do this every 6-8 weeks. We were next but then a woman showed up with an emergency, her dog wasn't doing well so I told her to go first because it was urgent. Then some horrible woman came and wanted to go first because she just wanted to pick up some medication and told the emergency woman to wait. So I told her that she has to wait because she is not next plus there is an emergency. But she started arguing with me and wanted to go inside and just ignore the emergency. So I got mad and started yelling at her to wait or leave. She pissed me off so much. How heartless!

  3. Haha. I'd say that's a good reason to learn another language. ;-)

  4. it's been cold here too in NY, I'm staying indoors unless it's absolutely necessary to go outside.

I would learn Danish just for the language, it's always nice to say you know how to speak a second language.

hope you have a great, warm day.

    1. That's a good plan! I wear warm socks all the time and have warm blankets, hot water bottles etc.. When I go out I wear hats, scarves, boots gloves. :)

I would love to learn more languages. It is definitely an advantage to know more!

Have a great Sunday and stay warm!

  8. Hedgehogs are so cute, they look like pine cones! Your gingerbread cookies sound delicious, vegan baking is challenging for me, but it’s fun to bake! What happened to the lady at the vet’s office?! Awww, Lumpi is looking very festive! x

    1. I love hedgehogs so much! I rescued one once. I love baking a lot. It does not always work out but it is so much fun! The lady at the vet's office tried to cut in line. There was an emergency and she just did not care. I got so angry! Lumpi loves his Christmas blanket! <3
