Ten On Tuesday. A vegan waiter, insider jokes and chocolate covered speculoos balls.

Hallo meine Lieben,

hope you are all doing great! You can link up with Alyssa here.

One.

I don't know if this is offending to meat-eaters but the poor waiter just speaks the truth and I thought it is pretty awesome.

Two.
I am so addicted to Criminal Minds right now. I don't even feel like watching much else. I have no idea how to catch up with this show but I will definitely try. I have no idea why I haven't started to watch this earlier.

Three.
There are some things that you just don't understand when you did not grow up in a country. David still has to explain jokes or sayings to me. I don't like the fact that sometimes I just don't get things but I guess it would be the same for him in Germany.

Four.
It would be nice to get some new running shoes at some point and I am really liking the color combination of these shoes. Maybe I would go out running more often with some nice pair of shoes, I don't know.

Five.
You would think that there is finally a progress and companies would stop testing their beauty products on animals. But I feel like there are only step backwards recently. It seems like Stila cosmetics is another company which changed their cruelty free policy. Shame on that company. Things like that make me really sad.

Six.
I need to make these. I love Speculoos and these look more than just delicious! You can find the recipe here.

Seven.
Do you usually eat sweet or savory for breakfast? I need something savory first. Bread with vegan cheese for example. I am a German, I need my bread and Brötchen.

Eight.
I don't like the combination of peppermint and chocolate.

Nine.
The last song which got stuck in my head was "Es klappert die Mühle am rauschenden Bach" which is totally weird because it is a children's song about a water mill and craftsmanship. And it is from 1824. It took me over a day to get rid of it. My German friends will know that song.

Ten.
Great.

Have a happy Tuesday!

    5. I just saw this on FB and was so bummed. I wanted to try some of their holiday gift deals too!! Shame on them.

    8. SAY IT AIN'T SO. How can this be? I hope you at least like peanut butter and chocolate together! :D

    1. Haha, glad your husband liked the video as well! :)
I got a new running shirt to motivate myself so maybe some new shoes would be even better. :)
I have never bought anything from Stila but they have some nice palettes which I would have considered. Not anymore. It really is a shame!
Oh yes, I love peanut butter and chocolate together! I have to admit that I tried it the first time when I came to America, never before that. :) But I don't know, I love peppermint and I love chocolate but together not so much.

  2. Oh, I can't see the video :(

If you want new running shoes send me an e-mail, since I work for Nike I get a really good discount and I can tell you which ones are vegan.

It would be so fantastic if you could tell me which shoes are vegan! I would love to get a new pair!

  4. Hi, my dearest Katrin! How are you? :) I'm totally on the same page as you in regards to #3, haha. Don't you feel that you learn something new every single day? Today, for instance, in a staff meeting I learned the expression "to open a can of worms", hehe.

I needslashwant a new pair of running shoes, too. Mine have holes and the sole is wearing off on the sides ... I guess I don't know how to walk/run properly?

And as for music, I've been obsessed with Placebo lately; especially after their show, it was so amazing!

Hope you're having a great week and happy Halloween if you celebrate it! ;D

Hope you can find some new running shoes also. I am sure I would exercise more if I would have some!
I love Placebo so much! Glad you had a great time at their concert! :) Did you take pictures?
Have a happy week and a fabulous Halloween! Hugs! <3

  5. Have you seen the newest Stella McCartney Adidas shoes? They have blue leopard patterns and of course sleek black look. I also need to find a pair of running shoes, since I love to walk a lot. Mmmm Speculoos are pretty tasty. And yes, me too, I love savory breakfast…it’s always toast!

Savory breakfast is the best, I just don't feel like eating something sweet in the morning!

  10. Gregory constantly has to explain jokes to me. It's no fun missing out and not getting it the first time but at least I know I'm not alone :)
