Five Things. A book chandelier, a little vampire and movie excitement.

Hallo meine Lieben,

I hope your Sunday is full of sunshine and happiness. Please check out my friend Celeste's Five Things as well.

1. Fave book from my childhood.

Der kleine Vampir (the little vampire) was my childhood hero. I wanted to have a vampire as friend as well. Never met one unfortunately. But I named my cat Lumpi after one of the characters (the coolest character of course). I re-discovered the books a couple of days ago and now I feel like re-reading them. And watching the TV series. Luckily I have it on DVD.

2. This chandelier.

Obviously there is not much to say about this other than: I need a chandelier like that. Desperately.

3. This movie.

I can't even put into words how excited I am that I found out that there is an Adler-Olsen movie out there. The keeper of lost causes. One of my favorite crime novels ever. I need to watch this gem as soon as possible. My only problem is that Carl Mørck and Assad do not look at all the way I pictured them. And I hate when that happens.

4. This bookshelf.

Okay, this is what I always wanted. Just add a fireplace, a comfy chair and a globe bar. Maybe it would hold all my books.

5. More bookshelves.

Here are 20 insanely creative bookshelves because you can never have enough bookshelves. At least not in my house. Which one is your favorite?

Have a happy Sunday and a fantastic week!

  2. Those are some great bookshelves!!

I hate it when charactors don't look the way you picture then, but I always think if they are well acted it doesn't matter!

I LOVE the Mario shelf! If I ever have kids, I NEED to do that in their nursery!

  5. I loved the little vampire, too. I always wanted to see the movies and I think I had an audio book. You remind of Hanni and Nanni, too - oh how I loved the book series and I still have them. I should read them again :)
    The chandelier is awesome!
And I definitely want a wall full of books some day - the fireplace and comfy chair sound perfect to me.
Of the 20 shelves I like the tree branch shelf best I think :)
I hope you're having a wonderful week, sweet Katrin.

    1. I did not know that there are movies. I have only seen the show. I think there was an old and a new version. I am not sure. I like the one with Gert Froebe. I hope you can read Hanni and Nanni soon!
The tree book shelf really is cool! I want a house with a different book shelf in each room. And of course a library on top of that. :)
Have a fantastic week! Ich drueck Dich ganz ganz dolle!

  6. Oh my gosh! That bookcase with the ladder is fantastic! The books I own would only fill up a couple shelves, but still - I'd have so much room to buy new ones!

    1. Yeah, it is so confusing, isn't it? I hate when that happens. I mean, the guy in the trailer does not even look similar to what I pictured!
