Horror movies, pumpkin beer, Go team Matty, Fußball players and lots of randoms.

Hallo meine Lieben,

I hope you are enjoying your weekend! It's a little rainy today but hopefully we will be able to go for a nice walk later.

Yesterday we went beer shopping because we wanted to try pumpkin ale. I never had something like that before, you don't really find it in Germany so I was really excited about it. We got two different types and thanks to Miki we bought some Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale and it was delicious! Great recommendation, dear!

We also had a nice barbecue and tried not to get bitten by all the mosquitoes. I had a yummy vegan burger together with some vegetables. And the beer for sure.
Later we watched a horror movie called Dread. David found a list on the internet which contains "The 10 most disturbing horror movies" and this was the only movie from the list he hasn't seen. He says that there are much more disturbing movies out there than the 10 on the list. And he is an expert when it comes to horror movies. Trust me.
What is your favorite horror movie? Do you like watching them?
We also watched some more Awkward which was pretty great. I love that show and I really am Team Matty. Jenna and Matty are the perfect match in my opinion. David thinks so too by the way. I really hope this show will never end.

David found this today and it makes me laugh a lot. David says that's how he is but I told him that he is always awesome.

We are currently watching some Football. Ohio State against Miami University. I still don't fully understand the rules of Football and I am not sure if I ever will. But it's still a lot of fun to watch it. But Fußball is even more fun for sure. Haha.
By the way: My dad thinks that the new player of Bayern München looks a little bit like David but I just can't see it.

What are your plans for the weekend?

  1. Oh my husband LOVES blue moon. I will have to get him that pumpkin one. Did you have it with a slice of orange? That is how it is always served in restaurants here.

I haven't seen awkward yet....I'll have to look that up and give that a whirl. I've been on an Inbetweeners kick (the UK version- not loving the USA version as much).

Hopefully the weather cheers up here (been rainy on and off all day- thanks a lot Isaac!) I've been wanting to use my six flags ticket this weekend. Have a good one!

    1. No, we did not have a slice of orange in it but that's a fantastic idea! I'll have to try that next time I drink it! The beer is really good, I am sure your husband will like it too!

Oh, I have read about The Inbetweeners and and I want to watch it so badly! I did not know there is an UK and an US version! I need to start watching it!

Did you go to the amusement park? I love them, so much fun! We had some rain this morning but now it's just hot and humid.
      Have a great weekend!

  2. Oh I don't like scary films, I get terrible nightmares!!

An ex boyfriend of mine used to watch them and I would always hide under the bed covers!

Pumpkin beer sounds like something from Harry Potter, maybe one day I will try it, but I only drink alcohol about twice a year!

    1. Oh no, it seems like you better not watch any horror movies alone!

Haha, yeah, it really sounds like butterbeer. And it tastes really good!

  7. I'm kind of surprised there isn't something like that in Germany. I know they do have a pumpkin wine that someone wrote about which is supposed to be pretty good.

    1. Yeah, I think it is because of the Reinheitsgebot. I don't know. I have never seen anything like that in Germany! And I have never tried pumpkin wine! Sounds good!

  8. There's so much I want to say but lets talk about the beer...when Patrick was over this time I was convinced I wanted to have a beer tasting...I don't drink beer and thought I should give it a go. Maybe I'll wait for you to come visit! Have a wonderful week lovely xoxox

    1. We should definitely have a beer together someday, Vanisha! It would be so awesome to meet you! In Germany we drink a lot of "Radler" which is beer mixed with soda. It is sweeter that way. I like it a lot.

  9. I love horror movies but sadly havent seen a really good one in a long time. The last one that was pretty awesome & I actually got scared with was Hostel 1 & 2, although not so much with the 2nd.

If you run across any good ones, let me know :)
