Random Thursday. Favorite feel good movies.

Hallo meine Lieben,

time for Random Thursday with LinEm and Sarah. Thank you girls for hosting!
This week's topic is....taadaaa.....

Okay, first of all I have to admit that I love to watch horror movies and thrillers but there are also a couple of movies that always make me feel good. I have watched some of them so many times that I can quote the whole movie but it is still a pleasure to watch them.
Let's start.

Pretty Woman.

                                                                       source

I have watched that movie the first time when I was a kid. I watched it together with my Mom and I am pretty sure I had no idea what Julia Robert's profession was but I know that I enjoyed every second of it. I never lost the fascination for that movie and I still watch it every time it's on TV.

Dirty Dancing.

                                                                     source

Another movie I can't get enough of. Who doesn't love that movie? Anybody? The music, the dancing, the love....it's fantastic. Mein Baby gehört zu mir! (Nobody puts baby in the corner in the German version.). Also a movie that I watch every time it's on TV.

Camp Cucamonga.

                                                                       source

It seems like all my feel good movies are movies that I loved as a child. What can I say, I had a happy childhood. This movie is so funny and entertaining and I still love it as much as I did when I was a child. Plus Jennifer Aniston is in it.

Love Actually.

                                                                   source

One of my most favorite Christmas movies. Love it and can't get enough of it.
There are other movies that makes me feel good...such as Napoleon Dynamite, Dodgeball, The Sword in the stone and many more. But these are my Top 4.

What movies make you feel good?
Have a lovely Thursday!

  2. I remember watching pretty woman though I like the soundtrack more than the movie.

'the princess bride' is always a favorite and IQ with Tim Robbins is another a favorite. there are tons more but I can't think of their titles but these two are particularly favorites of my fun & I never tired of watching them - definitely feel good movies

  3. I love Love Actually, too! Awe, Jamie ... :p

And Napoleon Dynamite is hilarious! I told David that if we ever have a wedding party, we have to do the final dance together, haha.

By the way, you've been drawn winner of the Paris necklace, Katrin ;D. I'll be sending it to you soon; probably on Saturday.

    Have a great day!

  8. Ha, I watched Pretty Woman as a kid too & can honestly say that had NO idea what she did for a living. In my head it was all innocent & a cute love story. Dirty Dancing is one of my favorites cause of the music & how smooth Patrick Swayze is.

Thanks for linking up with us!

  9. I watched Pretty Woman when I was younger too and I don't think I knew what she did until I was a little older. Similarly, I watched Grease when I was younger. I rewatched it as an adult and my jaw dropped at some of the lyrics (thinking specifically of Greased Lightning). I like Dirty Dancing. Interesting to know the German version. I had to go watch the scene. I'm not sure if I like it better or not. In the American version he's kind of forceful and sticking up for her "nobody puts baby in a corner". In the German version they totally change it "my baby belongs to me, is that clear?" but at the same time he says it so understated that it's kind of cool. Hmm.

    1. Haha, it seems like all of us didn't know what her profession was! :) That's awesome!
The American version is better than the German version. But I think I watched Dirty Dancing 50 times in German before I watched it in English. :)
