I hope you are all enjoying your time. Sometimes I am happy when I have the chance to have a cozy and relaxed weekend, when I don't really have to leave the house and can concentrate on things that I don't have the time to do on weekdays.
This is such a weekend.
Sometimes there is no other choice. You just have to be a little lazy.
And here are the things I do.
Watching some TV shows.
There are so many shows I need to catch up with. But I discovered a new show that I absolutely love and can't get enough of. It is called Moone Boy.
It focuses on a young boy's life growing up in Boyle, County Roscommon, Ireland in the late 1980s/early 1990s. Sean (Chris O'Dowd from Bridesmaids) is the imaginary friend of the 12 year old Martin and with Seán's help, Martin negotiates life as the youngest in a chaotic, scatter-brained family.
It is hilarious. You should check it out.

There is just more time to focus on each other on a weekend. On weekdays you are tired in the evening...it's just not the same.
Pampering myself.
Weekend means time for a face mask, a long bath etc.
Catch up on my favorite blogs.
I guess you all understand how important that is.
Reading.
I recently got the latest novel by Hakan Nesser and I did not even have time to read it yet. It is a shame. I need to change that.
Sleeping.
I really wish my day would have 30 hours to get everything done but I would also love to have more time to sleep. I love sleeping. Honestly. Can't get enough of it.
There are so many more things I like to do but the weekend is usually too short. I love to go grocery shopping on Saturdays, flea markets, do something creative, read magazines, go out for a hike etc.
I also need to get some work done but I try not to think about it right now.

DeleteMy guy works insane hours and rarely has saturdays off, so the weekend and especially sundays are all for catching up. totally feel you there. Evenings before going to bed is just not enough time to really relax and get some good quality time down. And catching up on blogs....gosh...I just spend half an hour just sorting through my unread bloglovin list ^^ I haven't even read anything yet. terrible terrible.
