Hallo meine Lieben,
finally! It is time for another round of Random Thursday with these lovely hosts:
And the topic is awesome like every week.
Well, fall is my favorite season. There is no doubt. There are things that I like about every season but fall is definitely the winner.
And here's why...
David's birthday.
His birthday is at the end of October. I like giving presents and surprising people so that's definitely one of my fall highlights.

Halloween.
It is not as popular in Germany as it is in America. So last year I celebrated my first American Halloween and it was awesome. I love all the Halloween stuff you can find in stores. We recently got some a Halloween string of lights, orange, purple and green. It is awesome. I would love to decorate the whole house with creepy stuff. I react like a kid when I see Halloween things. I also went to my first Haunted House last year and it was awesome! Even tough a ghost stole my hat and a zombie tried to kill me with his chainsaw.

Lazy evenings on the couch with tea, books and tv.
I love evenings like that all year round but it is even more comfortable in fall, cuddled up on the couch with blankets, a hot water bottle and all kind of entertainment. I guess most of you know that I am a huge fan of crime novels so I usually spend lots of fall evenings reading some exciting books and catching up with my favorite shows.

Fallen leaves.
The colors are so pretty in fall. I love to go out for a walk on a sunny fall evening, see all the colorful leaves and enjoy the fresh air. Wrapped in a warm coat, gloves, a scarf and a hat. I love nature. Especially in fall.

Fall fashion.
Boots, warm sweaters, gloves, scarves, hats.....give it to me! I love to wear comfy clothes and I am a huge admirer of all the fall colors. Hot water bottles are also a part of my fall fashion. I need at least two of them each night to warm my feet. My favorite fall accessory.

DeleteYou've kind of convinced me that fall is not at all bad, hehe! ;P I love all the Halloween stuff, too! America is so good at selling things! I always want to buy everything! Every time I see a Halloween black cat, I feel like I have to get it to honor Dimitri, hehehe :p.
ReplyDeleteAnd clothes for colder weather rock, too!
Have a great one, my sweet friend! ;D
Hugs!

ReplyDeletehave a sweet day.
I totally agree! :)
DeleteWe had orange Halloween lights at my college house - miss them! And that holiday!
ReplyDeleteYeah, they look awesome! It is getting more famous in Germany but you can't compare it to America!
DeleteYou're so right about the lack of Halloween in Germany. I'm looking forward to comfy nights in front of the fireplace. Funnily enough, today was T-shirt weather, so I won't it fire up tonight.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't know why it is not such a big deal in Germany!
DeleteI wish we had Halliween in NL but it just doesn't work here. It's no fun unless people join in!
ReplyDeleteFall fashion is def the best!
Germans don't care that much but in the last years I have seen some kids doing trick or treat!
DeleteOctober birthdays are so much fun, do you have anything special planned for David's birthday?
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to figure out what costume I'll be wearing for halloween, also I should probably start stocking up candy. Dont want to be the only house without candy & end up getting egged :/
Thanks for linking up hon!
Haunted houses! :)
DeleteHaha, yeah, it is important to have lots of candy! I hope you will find a great costume!
