My Christmas wishlist. Random Thursday.

Hallo meine Lieben,

how is your week going? It's time for another fantastic Random Thursday with these fabulous girls.

This week's topic is very Christmasy.

I have to say that I don't even have a Christmas wishlist. Just things I want to have but don't wish for. First of all because I am saving money for some expensive things and second of all because I am not even in a Christmas mood.

But here are some things that would be nice to own.

                                                                                             source

1. A MacBook Pro.

I destroyed my old laptop because I am cursed. Electronic devices never survive very long in my care. I really don't know why that is so it must be a curse.

2. A fancy camera.

Because I would love to start taking more pictures. You can't do much with an iPhone camera. And something is wrong with my other camera. Cursed, I tell you.
So maybe it is stupid to wish for electronic devices at all.

3. Lush products.

There are so many products on my wish list and I would love to own them all.

4. A book about sewing.

I really want to learn how to sew. Maybe a book could teach me that. I don't know. I want to try.

5. A wonderful home for all animals in need.

I guess most of you already know how much I care about animals.

6. A language course.

I really need to work on my French. It is so bad. I think I forgot everything. I also want to learn Spanish, Icelandic, Swedish, Italian....

What's on your wishlist?
Have a fantastic rest of the week! Can't wait to catch up with you guys!

  3. I love your drive to learn new languages. And definitely save up for the macbook pro and camera - so worth it, you'll never look back. Just take EXTRA good care of them!

    1. Haha, yeah! I would take extra good care of them. I am just not sure if it is enough when you are cursed. :)

  4. Ha ha, I love how you are "cursed" concerning electronics. I seem to have a self-destruct button for myself, instead of destroying my laptop I squish my fingers or burn them with the hot glue gun.

Why don't you start sewing without a manual? Most of the functions of your sewing machine will be explained in the instruction manual, and the other stuff you can figure out as you go along. That's how I did it, and it works great! (But I'm not making clothes, if that's what you want to do...)

    Great list!

    1. Oh no, a self-destruct button sounds bad too! Take care of yourself!

I thought it might be better to read about the basics first because I am not sure where to start. Haha. What are you making?

  5. Since I can't give a home to all of the animals in need (but how I wish I could) for Christmas I bring bags of dog food to the shelter where I adopted my dog. It's only a small thing but at least it's something :)

    2. You are so sweet Sara! I want to do something like that too. I always volunteered in a shelter in Germany.

  6. I don't really have many wishes for Christmas this year, I don't really have the feeling that Christmas is right around the corner either. But there are always books :) And I wish I could have a pet! (But it's not really doable at the moment..) But most important is that I will spend Christmas in Norway with my family and that is a great present too :)

    1. That's exactly how I feel too. But books are always a good thing!
Have a great time in Norway!

  7. Oh, I'm sorry about the luck of your electronic devices :/; that sucks! Hope you can get a new laptop and camera soon ;).

And I doubt I'd ever understand sewing books, haha, I could barely understand how to place the thread in my sewing machine ...

    1. Thank you so much, sweetie! I hope so too!

It is really hard to understand. I really hope I will be able to sew something someday. :)

  8. Here's hoping the holidays are good to you. I actually did get a MacBook Pro from my husband for Christmas. Love it :-) As for the language course, check out Busuu.com. They have a lot of free courses to at least start getting brushed up on some vocabulary. The only French I know is that dirty phrase from a song and how to ask if someone speaks English lol. I wouldn't say I have a 'fancy' camera but I do like it. It's a Canon Powershot SX230 HS. I recommend it if you're looking for a nice point and shoot. I have actually yet to buy anything from Lush. They just seem so expensive. I have bought similar products before though. One I recently found I like is http://www.moonsharvest.com.
