Random Thursday. 5 things on my bucket list.

Hallo meine Lieben,

it's Thursday again. Time is flying by. It means that it is time to link up with these great girls.

It's also time to talk a little bit about this topic.

Well, I have to say that my bucket list is so long that I probably need 5 more lives to do all the things I want to do. But let's start with these.

1. traveling

There are so many places I want to see, I guess I would travel pretty much anywhere but on top of my list are Iceland, Ireland, Christmas Island, Norway and India. So yeah, hopefully I can travel to at least one of these places in the near future.

2. write a crime novel.

I love to read them so it would be awesome to write my own crime novel. I have so many ideas and I really need to sit down and start writing...Why can't my day have 34 hours?

3. ride in a hot air balloon.

I think I have mentioned that before at least 37 times. I really really want to do this someday. The sooner the better.

4. Adopt more animals.

I really want to be able to offer lots of animals a home, not just cats, dogs and bunnies. Also chicken, donkeys, cows and pigs. So I need the time, space and money to do this. I want to run my own animal sanctuary.

5. Bake more.

I love baking. I am just not very good at it. And I don't take the time to become a very good baker. So this is definitely on my bucket list.

What's on your bucket list?
Have a lovely Thursday!

  1. Hi there,

ahhh, I love to travel, as well. So I visited Ireland, but I still want to see Canada, the USA, England, and I'm going to Sweden in September for a year. Yay! I would love to have the money to see all the places and things, I want to.

Wow, a crime novel?! I have had an idea, once, but that was it. I am not sure, that I would be capable writing a whole book...

And you know, that I love baking, so I try to do more and I love to try new recipes.

    Have a great weekend!

    1. Hi Franziska!
You will go to Sweden in September? That is so awesome! I have always wanted to live in Sweden, in a red little house at a lake. :) I hope you will have a wonderful time! I can't wait to read about it!
I am not sure if I am capable of writing a book either but I want to give it a try at some point! :)
      Have a great weekend!

    2. Hi Kartin,
yes, I will go to Stockholm. SO excited about it, can't wait for it and I really want to learn Swedish.

Thanks for your magazine recommendation! I saw "slow vegie" the other day, so I will buy it this weekend (hopefully it's still available in my favourite shop)

    3. That is so exciting about Sweden! Yay! I really can't wait to read more about that. I have always wanted to travel there. The only thing I can say is "Jag heter Katrin" and "smorrobrod". Haha.

The first issue of that magazine really is fantastic, I am sure the second one is great too! Hope you can get one! Let me know how it is. I should tell my Dad to get one for me too!

  2. Totally with you on the traveling. Also props for picking Christmas Island! I'd love to write a crime novel as well.... but the good ones are so complex, I just don't know if I'm that smart! If I could I'd adopt hundreds of animals. Love them all. And if you need someone to practice vegan baking for.... :)

And you are right about the crime novels, I doubt that I could write a good one!
Hehe, have you seen my burned cakes? Are you sure you would want to try what I made...?

  10. I can highly recommend the writing. I have taken time out to do that recently and it has been such a satisfying experience. Like you, I had lots of ideas in my head and it was a bit daunting preparing to put them down on paper but once I did that, I couldn't stop. DO IT !!
If you do go to India, I also highly recommend making sure you stop at Kerala. It's beautiful !

  12. Hi, Katrin! How are you? :) OMG, what and where is Christmas Island? It sounds like something I need to add to my bucket list as well, haha.

Adopting more animals, too, is something I'd love to do, aweee ...

And I look forward to reading your novel!

    1. Hi Miki!
I am doing good! Hope you are having a great time! So glad you got to see Belle & Sebastian!
Christmas Island is in the Indian Ocean, it belongs to Australia. Every November/December you can watch the red crab migration, it is so fascinating, the whole island is covered with crabs. :)
Hehe, thanks for being willing to read my novel! :)
      Have a wonderful week!

  13. I have always wanted to ride in a hot air balloon! Every time I see one floating over my village, I stand outside waving at it (looking like some sort of weirdo I'm sure) until it disappears.

  16. Traveling is on mine too. I have a couple novels in progress, but none that are finished. Who knows when I'll get time. These days I'm lucky if I get to write something that isn't a conference or paper for school lol.
