99 questions you should ask yourself - part I.

Hallo meine Lieben,

in a magazine I discovered an article about "99 questions you should ask yourself" and I thought it might be interesting to answer these. 99 questions are a bit much for just one post so I decided to split them up.
I would be very excited if you would join me and answer these questions too.

1. What are you addicted to?

I am addicted to anything I can read. Books, magazines, articles, blogs. I love to read and I love to do it as often as I can. A world without books would be a sad world. Sure, I also can't live without animals, David, my friends and family, nature...

2. What's the first thing you would do if you were invisible?

Sneak into factory farms, laboratories etc. and free all the animals in there.

3. Pictures or plants in your office?

I don't have a green thumb at all but I always try to keep at least one plant alive. Must be one which is easy to handle though. And of course pictures too.

4. If you could magically change a part of your body, which one would it be?

I like myself in general but I am not really a huge fan of my legs. I don't know why exactly but they are definitely my least favorite part of myself. They are always pale and my knees look like soccer player knees.

5.Do you know people who would want to have sex with you immediately?

I would hope David.

6. How often do you google yourself?

I think I have googled my name once...that was years ago. I have never really thought about this. Maybe I should do it more often.

7. Have you ever been depressive?

Depressed yes...but not depressive. I don't know. I had a very hard time after my mom died but I never really showed it.

8. What is the most embarrassing thing you can find on the internet about you?

Probably some pictures where I really make a stupid face in one of David's photo albums. I have the tendency to always look really stupid in pictures.

9. Do you think that time heals all wounds?

No, I don't think so.

10. Which words of education of your parents would you never say to your kids?

My parents did a really good jobs but I always hated it when other parents said that their kids have to empty their plates. One of my friend's mom always put so much stuff on her daughter's plate that the kid almost threw up trying to eat all that stuff she did not even liked. My parents never forced me to eat anything I did not want to eat. And they were very supportive when I stopped eating meat.

Stay tuned for part II! And have a happy week!

  1. Oh we definitely had to clean our plates growing up - but we were also skinny minnies and it prevented us from becoming too picky of eaters as kids

    1. Yeah, I understand. I just think that you should not make kids eat something that they absolutely hate.

  8. :) There're loads of things I've in common with you ... except for the last question. My mom would say, lose weight, don't get too fat (but I have a healthy BMI). I would not say that to my kids!!!!!

    1. We really have a lot in common! I would not tell my kids that either. I mean, I think it is important to learn how to eat in a healthy way.

  9. #5 cracked me up! :o) I don't have a green thumb either, but I like having houseplants. Maybe bamboo would be a good option for you. It's really hard to kill bamboo. :o)

    1. Haha, well, I guess it would be stupid if he would not want to. :) I have never thought about bamboo, but that is a great idea! Maybe I will manage not to kill it! Thanks, Sarah!

  10. it's great to read your answer. sorry, I'm too lazy to answer them, so I'll just answer a few.

#3 - same answer for me too. I have pictures of flowers/plants in my office, well, it's really a calendar. a plant would definitely not survive if I am the caretaker, unless it's a cactus, those rarely needs care.

#5 - what a strange question! not a question I would likely answer.

#9 - I think it depends on how good your memory is. but I think sometimes we forget too easily.

    have a great day.

i think i need to get a cactus and bamboo. :) i might be able to care for them!
i think that time can help to make you handle things better but it does not heal all your wounds.
      have a great day!
