Five Things. Girls who read, hair colors and book love.

Hallo meine Lieben,

happy Friday! I hope you will all have a fantastic weekend!
Please check out my friend Celeste's Five Things as well! You get to see a cute pink armadillo (which reminds me of Friends. Need to keep watching that show.).

1. This book.

I loved "The 100-year-old man who climbed out the window and disappeared" so I definitely have to check out Jonas Jonasson's new book too!

2. This video.

The video is called "Girls who read" and as a girl who reads I think this is pretty awesome. I already watched it a couple of times and it does not get old. David shared this with me a couple of days ago. I think he likes girls who read too.

3. These audio books.

I am currently listening to all the Harry Potter audio books again. Seriously, I can't get enough of Harry Potter. Always makes me feel sop comfy and good. Plus I just love Stephen Fry's voice.

4. This hair color.

I would not dye my hair like this anymore but I wish I would have had this hair color when I was 14. I would have totally tried it. It is vegan, PPD free, ammonia-free and peroxide-free. I tried all kinds of hair colors and it was a lot of fun to experiment with it.

5. This makes you think.

I highly recommend the book " Why we love dogs, eat pigs and wear cows" by Melanie Joy.

Have a happy weekend! Thanks for reading!

  4. I love audio books! I only have one Harry Potter audio book, but I sure know what you mean about the voice. I can listen to it for hours. Do you know the German voice? That one is awesome, too.
That video is great! It also works the other way round - it's amazing if you can talk to a man about books, classics even :) Doesn't happen too often ;)
Love the color! I don't think I would have ever dared dying my hair like this, but I love it anyways.
Thank you for the book recommendation, I'll have to read that one by Melanie Joy. And as always I'm in awe of your love for animals!
Du bist einfach die Beste, liebste Katrin.
Ich drücke Dich ganz fest und wünsche Dir ein wunderschönes Wochenende :)

    1. I have not listened to the German Harry Potter audio books yet. I just had to look it up and I think Rufus Beck reads them, right? I have to check them out!
I agree, loving books is always a great thing!
The color is really pretty! I would have definitely tried it as a teenager but not anymore. But still like to see it on others!
I hope you will like the Melanie Joy book!

Ich drück Dich ganz dolle! Hab ein tolles Wochenende!

  8. I've never really gotten into audio books. I used to use Manic Panic, but I used the blue, once to dye over bleached hair and a couple times to add blue highlights to black hair. I think I have used the red before too though now that I think about it (also over black). It's just semi-permanent, so you could always try it on a vacation or something if you wanted to and then just wash with a shampoo that will strip color. I'll have to check that book out sometime.

    1. I usually prefer real books over audio books but I want to spend as much time with books as possible and when I drive then I can't read a book so I listen to audio books. Plus the Harry Potter ones are really awesome. I would love to see some pictures of your colorful hair. I am sure it looks awesome!

  9. That book, I would love to check it out, maybe it’s available on Kindle? I'm not a huge fan of audio books, I love reading words so I can picture them in my head, rather than having a strange voice talking in my head. I’ve heard of Manic Panic before and nearly got them, but dying my hair is a nightmare. I was a blonde, strawberry blonde, platinum blonde, etc, and my dark roots grew! I even wished that I had purple hair. I used to have pinkish highlights which was pretty neat. I bet you look pretty with pink highlights! Have a great weekend, Katrin x
