Random Thursday. Walk into my house & you'll see...

Hallo meine Lieben,

welcome to another Random Thursday and thanks for joining! I hope you are all having a fantastic week!

Maybe I should give you a home tour at some point. I love reading posts like that. I don't know what that says about me. But for now, I can't wait to hear about your homes? How does it look like? Do you like to decorate? What colors do you prefer? What kind of furniture? I am curious!
So here is what you see in my house....

Cats and bunnies.

Let's face it: the animals rule. They get most of the attention and the first thing I do in the morning is to take care of the pets. They are totally spoiled and they make me endlessly happy!

Books.

Of course, hundreds of books. I need to get another book shelf, I am running out of space. I really need a library. I don't even have enough space for all my books, some are stored in boxes in the basement which totally drives me crazy. The poor books.
There are also lots of magazines all around the house. Anything you can read sounds good to me.

A collection of shoes, clothes and make up products.

I admit that I probably have too many shoes and clothes and beauty items - at least more than I need to survive. I have gotten a lot better, but sometimes you just need to treat yourself with a little something that makes you happy.
And yes, sometimes there are clothes all over the place. Especially when I am in a hurry in the morning and have no idea what to wear.

Stuff that keeps you warm.

I own many warm blankets (David even bought me a heated blanket), socks, fuzzy slippers, gloves, scarves,  hot water bottles, warm sweaters and so on. I need to fight the cold because it seems like I can never stay warm. Even when other people think it is way too hot. I am always freezing cold. Always.

Food.

I do get a little cranky when I am hungry and don't have anything I like. That is why I always try to be prepared and have some snacks I like, tea, chocolate. The basics which I try to have in the fridge/kitchen are: fresh fruits and veggies, vegan cheese, plant based milk, chocolate, bread, different kinds of tea...

A special chair.

My Mom built a chair for me when I was a kid. The chair is pink and looks like a pig. I can't even tell you how much this chair means to me. It will always follow me, no matter where I live. I love it.

Okay, and now I am curious: what will I find in your house?
Happy Thursday!

  2. I want to cuddle your kitties and bunnies! SO CUTE. Yes, books, on every surface possible. Including the floor! I thought about posting a picture of my bathroom with all the makeup and creams, but it's a bit embarrassing. I have more than 10 people could ever need! It's a bit out of hand. And I have blankets and sweaters in every room of the house - there's two on my chair with me right now! I'm never warm enough. Also I love that picture, I had to stop reading to giggle for awhile! Can you post a pic of your pink piggie chair sometime? It sounds fantastic - and even better because your mom made it. Great post, sweetie! :)

    1. They really are the cutest! I am sure you would love them and they would love you too. The cats want to cuddle all the time! I would love to see your bathroom! Mine is a huge mess, it is way too small for all the stuff I have! :) Your house sounds similar to mine. :) And I will definitely post a picture of the chair! :) Thanks so much!

I don't know if I'll get around to taking pictures for this week's post, but in my house it's definitely all about the cats and books. Everywhere. And blankets, because it's cold here! And cups of tea--there are mugs all over the living room right now. :)

  5. It makes me sad that some of my books are in the basement too lol. I have a bunch of my books stacked horizontally on the shelves because I don't have room to put them all the right way.

Why no picture of this pig chair? lol

  11. We had a lot of books too but had to downsize a bit here and there along the way. Luckily, we have a friend who owns a used bookstore and knowing the books will find another home makes me feel better about getting rid of them!

    1. I would probably live there if one of my friends would have a used book store. Haha. That is awesome. I just can't say goodbye to books!

  12. about the same thing in my house though no animals or special chairs. I think I have less clothes & shoes compare to my cds/dvds/books collection. and tons of junk that I always forget to sort through. I'm one of those people who can't really throw stuff away even when they are useless to me.

hope you have a good holiday.
