Random Thursday. Things I love about my BFF...

Hallo meine Lieben,

welcome to another Random Thursday with LinEm and me. I hope you are all doing fine. Sorry for not posting that much recently but I guess I will be back with some more posts soon.

I have known my real life BFF Julia for my whole life. We grew up together, her house was on the other side of the road and we saw each other every single day. Life changes but our friendship never has and that means so much to me. I hope you also know how much my blogging friends mean to me...Thank you so much for all your emails and for being there for me. You don't know what this means to me. Thank you.

* We always stay in touch, no matter in which countries we life or how much time we have.
* I can totally count on her. Always.
* She is one of the smartest people I have ever met. And one of the funniest.
* We can talk about old E.R. episodes for hours.
* We have so many fun memories together.
* We wrote each other letters, almost every single night. Even when we spent the majority of the day together.
* She always prepares vegan food for me.
* It's always fun to spend time with her - we don't even have to talk. But we never run out of topics to talk about.
* We sound horrible when we sing old Take That songs together.
* She is one of the few people who are allowed to borrow my books. Because I know that I get them back in the same condition.
* She is silly like me.

There are a million more things I love about my BFF....what do you love about your BFF? Please share!

  2. I love that you two have stayed close! Childhood friendships that continue into adulthood are a beautiful thing. I had a best friend from preschool until high school graduation, but when she moved away for college, we drifted apart. We still keep in touch from time to time, but we'll probably never be as close again as we once were. I miss that kind of friendship!

    1. I am sorry you drifted apart! That is always a sad things. I try to keep in tough with my friends from school but sometimes it is hard. I can imagine how much you must miss that friendship!

  3. Unfortunately my BFF ran away exactly at the "a friend in need" moment, and that while I was there for her with all my body and soul when she needed me (and I mean serious business in both cases). I have not forgiven her for that even today, so I guess the term BFF does not apply anymore, in fact the whole relationship has died.

  4. Hi, you have wonderful blog .....Like Mila I remember parting with my BFF recently...she was just way to dominating and I would often ignore that until I realize she is really getting on my nerves and I need to push her away for my peace.

But I have one more BFF and we have never ever fought not even once in our lives its been 12 years. I too would love have a BFF who could cook vegan for me . Nice post.

    Love,
    Bhagya

    1. Thank you so much, Bhagya! I am so glad you like my blog! Thank you for stopping by!
Parting with friends is always hard, I am sorry you had to go through this! It sounds like you are better off without her though. I mean, it can be very exhausting and stressful to deal with such dominating people. That is not what friendship is about! But glad you have your other BFF! Sounds wonderful!

  6. What a beautiful post! :) I'm so happy you have such an incredibly caring and close BFF. They make a difference in our lives, they are as important as our partners because they know us in a way we might not even know ourselves. And it's those times where we can't even be there for ourselves when they step in and don't allow us to stop believing in ourselves. I'm truly happy you have such an amazing BFF :) And she's just as blessed to have you!
I don't have one that goes back to my childhood. But the one I found here 2 years ago is exactly that for me - the BFF that I can always count on - that I can laugh with, cry with, be silly with, talk the night away with and spend wonderful hours with :)
Ich drücke Dich sooooooooooo feste, liebste Katrin <3 Ich denk an Dich!

I don't have a BFF. We moved around too much when I was a child for that.
