Fall essentials.

Hallo meine Lieben,

I hope you are having a lovely Sunday! There is no doubt: fall is here. Which is why I want to take my change and share some of my favorite fall essentials with you.

Warm sweaters - I am always cold so I need to try to stay warm.
Warm socks - I recently bought some over knee socks and I cannot put into words how much I love them. I am also loving my new socks with dog and tiger faces on them.
Animals - always. <3
Hot water bottle - especially a cute one that looks like a donkey.
MuLondon moisturizerMuLondon is one of my favorite brands ever. I also recommend their face wash. All vegan and natural.
Books - I guess that's not a secret. Love spending a Sunday on the couch with a good book.
Tea - I am in love with licorice& mint tea right now.
Nail polish - one of my fave brands is Beauty Without Cruelty.
Lip balm and lip stick - there are many cruelty free and vegan options now. I always use lip balm but even more in fall and winter.
Body butter - I have very dry skin so that's a must.
Candles - make your evening even cozier. I love all the fall scents - caramel, apple, pumpkin...
Warm blanket - As I said, I am always cold.
Hot chocolate - made with almond milk.
Pears - one of my fave fruits in fall.
Magazines -Science, animals, DIY, cooking...there are many interesting magazines.
Drawing & sewing - learning how to sew is on my bucket list for this fall.
Soup - red lentil soup with curry and coconut milk is my favorite.
Long walks - perfect for fall.
Warm boots - boots are my favorites. I always look forward to wearing boots again.
Chocolate - perfect reading snack.
Foot cream - especially when it smells like candy mint.
Movies and tv shows - October is perfect to watch some horror movies. Plus all the fall shows are back. Hello, Criminal Minds, Bones and Chicago Fire!
Flea markets - the best flea markets take place in fall. Perfect thing to do on a sunny Sunday.
Lavendar pillow spray - makes falling asleep even better.
Hand cream - a must in fall. Could not live without it.

What are your fall favorites?
Have a fantastic Sunday!

  5. I love that autumn is the perfect time for eating comfort foods - soups and stews, mashed potatoes, curry... all the things that you're just too hot to eat in summer!
And tea, of course. I love to curl up on the sofa with a blanket, a cup of tea and my cross stitch. And fluffy socks - fluffy socks are a must in autumn/winter.

  6. I'm always cold too - not so much outside but the air conditioning is usually freezing at work and the hubby likes it cold at home too. I have a few pairs of fluffy socks, because as long as my feet are warm the rest of me is too. Hand and body lotion are a big must for me - I have such dry skin that I'm always slathering myself with something! 😃

    1. I have a huge problem with the air conditioning in America. It is always too cold for me. Going to the movies is really bad. I always have to bring a cardigan and a scarf! Even in summer. I also have a very dry skin so I try to use hand lotion and body butter as much as possible!

  7. I *just* got the very same edition of The Rosie Effect! Part of me is super excited to read it because I loved about 90% of the first book, but another part of me is so worried it won't live up and that a sequel will feel like jumping the shark. Can't wait to see what you think of it - and I'm crossing my fingers that it ends up being fantastic!

    1. Haha, cool that you got the same edition. I ordered it the day it got published but I did not start reading it yet. I am saving it for the weekend. It is rainy and windy here anyway. I totally understand how you feel about it. I do not want to be disappointed either! Let me know what you think about it!

  11. I have to moisturize a lot in the fall and winter, too. I use Philosophy brand products - they don't test on animals, but I'm not sure if that makes them vegan or not. I LOVE my face lotion from there - Hope In A Jar. Nothing I've ever tried has been as good as that one!

    1. My skin is so dry as well, it is really bad! I need to moisturize all the time! I have not heard of Philosophy before but I just googled that brand and their parent company is Coty which tests on animals. It's a grey area but I avoid companies whose parent companies test on animals. But thank you for your help!
