I am glad the cat I got is you, rabbit food and a vegan advent calender. {Ten On Tuesday}

Hallo meine Lieben,

you can link up for Ten On Tuesday with my friend Alyssa here.

1. I am pretty good at destroying things. Today I destroyed part of my laptop keyboard which really sucks.

2. Top Ten reasons not to wear wool. Did you know that sheep don't need to be shorn? Plus they get hurt in the process of taking their wool. And then they end up as meat. Also cows don't need to be milked because the calf would drink the milk in a natural setting. But calves are taken away from the mother so that humans can take the milk.

3. The movie "The Inbetweeners" is called "Sex on the beach" in Germany. How stupid is that?

4. This cat song clearly is an ear worm and the video makes me smile every single time. I am so glad I got Lumpi and Tiger as cats. Also cute: Things I like when I'm depressed. Another cute video: If dogs could apologize. I clearly watch too many adorable videos. Definitely a good thing to do when you are depressed.

5. How fantastic are fire paintings

6. I found a vegan advent calender! With rice milk chocolate. When I was a kid I had an advent calender with 24 paper houses that my mom made for me. And she filled it with chocolate, candy and even toys.

7. Because I really love The Inbetweeners.

8. I am not exactly into rap music but here is a vegan song with fab lyrics, ear worm qualities and adorable animals. "They call it rabbit food, just because I don't call the rabbit food." I love my rabbit food.

9. Still waiting to find out when I  will be able to get a German or English translation of the 6th book of the Carl Mørck series by Jussi Adler-Olsen. I am impatient and I want to read that book now. Why can't I speak Danish?

10. Speaking of languages: one of the superpowers I would like to have is to be able to speak every single language that exists.

Have a fantastic rest of the week! Thanks for reading!

    1. 1. Glad I am not the only one! I try my best but things always break.
      3. No, it is not. I just don't get it. I mean, why would you give something with an English title another English title? Then you can just keep the old one!
      5. It's pretty cool!
      9. I need to work on my French too. It would be great to be able to understand everybody!

  2. #1 - I only destroy things when I'm angry, that is, I have this perpetual need to keep things in good shape so of cause, when something gets ruin, I get a little angry, hence, the destruction, it's a vicious cycle, I'm telling you. okay, moving on...

#5 - wow! I checked out the site - although, your link don't work, it just goes to the image itself, I click on 'source' instead.

#6 - I've never own an advent calender before, I wonder why

#10 - yes, I want that too. that way, I can understand everybody, especially the tourist, there's a lot of tourist in new york, they keep asking for directions and I don't understand them.

    anyway, have a good day.

    1. 1. It clearly sounds like a vicious cycle! The thing is that I do not want to destroy things, it just happens. I am so clumsy.
      5. Yeah you need to click on source, otherwise it is just the image. It's pretty cool!
      6. You should get one!
      10. It would be so great to be able to understand everybody!
      Have a good day!

  3. I'd like that super power a lot, too!! How fun would it be to communicate with EVERYBODY? So cool.

It bothers me when shows and movies are named different things in different countries. I guess I can understand it when the literal translation wouldn't have the same meaning in another language, but they even do this in the UK with American movies and we share the same language!

    1. It would be so great to be able to understand and communicate with everybody. I really hope I can learn some more languages!

It does not make any sense to change the title. I don't know why there are different ones in the UK and US! So stupid! And why would you give an English movie another English title in Germany?! Just keep the original one!

    1. Yeah, it really does not make any sense! And I don't understand why you would use another English title instead of sticking to the original one! Have a great weekend as well, Keith!

  10. I would love to be able to speak all languages as well. I would really love to learn at least one more. Maybe Italian or Spanish.
Oh my, those poor sheep. There is a sheep farm here in our village and I was able to watch when they were shorn and I can say, they were treated very well and not harmed at all!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend! xxx

    1. Yeah, it would be so great to speak more languages. My French is so rusty so I am working on that but I would love to speak Swedish or Spanish or Italian or Icelandic as well!
I am glad those sheep are treated that way but unfortunately that's the exception. It makes me so sad and angry.
      Enjoy your weekend! Hugs!

  11. I'm good at dropping things, in fact, I'm mastering this lately, of course, now that I can't do pretty much anything because of the baby belly!

  12. Oh no, what happened to your keyboard? Is it easy to fix? Hope it’s all sorted! I accidentally left dry ice on a lovely table and it leaked, ugh, I can be quite a disaster sometimes! Hehe, my bf watches that show, ‘The Inbetweeners’, that’s odd! These fire paintings are super impressive…wow! OMG, a vegan calendar!?!?! I want this! Haha, I hope the series come out soon - I learned a bit of Danish few years ago and it was still hard, hehe!

    1. Unfortunately some water happened to the keyboard. Then I tried to remove the buttons and one broke. But I was able to fix it in the end. Thankfully! Oh no, the dry ice incident sounds bad! So cool that he watched The Inbetweeners too! I hope he likes it! I was surprised to see the calendar as well! SO cool that you speak some Danish! You need to translate for me! :)
