Sunday Confessions. Food addictions, holiday sweaters and yogurt-joghurt.

Hallo meine Lieben,

I hope life is treating you in a great way and you are having a wonderful Sunday!
I am linking up with fabulous Alyx from Every Day Is A New Adventure for some confessions, like I do every Sunday.

Confession #1.

I have two new food addictions.
One is cress on bread with some soy margarine. I saw some cress in the store yesterday and immediately wanted to eat nothing else but cress all the time. Don't know why because I probably haven't eaten any cress for over a year. But it's so good that I decided that I need it more often. So I eat that for lunch and dinner.
As for breakfast I have another food addcition which is Müsli with soy yogurt. Sounds boring, tastes great.

Confession #2.

I am still cursed. but not as bad as before. At least at the moment. I thought I broke my external hard drive because it did not react anymore. But then I tried to use a new cable and it worked again. What a success.
But David says I should get another hard drive to back up my back-up. I guess he's right. You have to be extra careful when you are cursed.

Confession #3.

I am a little irritated by couples wearing matching holiday sweaters. Maybe it is because I am not used to that. There is no such thing in Germany. But yeah, it is kind of cute.
At least this one.

Confession #4.

I got a book about sewing and I have to say that the first couple of pages look fine but then it gets really confusing. But I guess it is all about learning by doing. My goal is to make my own sweater in 2013 but hopefully it will be more than that.

Confession #5.

It totally confuses me that you write "yogurt" in German like that: Joghurt. So I always spell it wrong now, no matter in what language.

Do you have any confessions to make?
Have a wonderful Sunday!

  1. I always spell yogurt wrong...haha, that's so weird. And I don't get the matching Christmas sweater thing either, but it is cute.
I felt cursed as well, two of our laptops suddenly didn't work anymore and one of them was my back-up, so I thought all my photos were gone forever. Thank goodness the hard drive was not broken and we could recover everything and had to get a new laptop anyway, well Frohe Weihnachten! lol
    Hugs xxx

    1. Isn't it weird about the yogurt thing? :) So glad I am not the only one!
I am so glad you were able to recover all your stuff! That would have been really bad. I destroyed so many things this year, it is bad. I really need to back up my back up!
      Hugs!

  5. Hi, Katrin! How are you? ;) Awe, why are you cursed? :( That sucks! Let's hope this week that's about to start is a great one without worries or curses! ;D

I love watercress, but I'm not sure it's the same thing. It's kind of spicy, yum! I haven't had it in this country yet, though.

I didn't know couples wore matching holiday sweaters, haha! I haven't seen any yet. The other day there was an ugly sweater party for the library staff, but I didn't attend. 1) I don't have an ugly sweater, haha and 2) I didn't feel like socializing at all, boo.

Hope you have a wonderful, wonderful week, Katrin! It's the week before Christmas!

Tight hugs from all of us!

    1. Hi Miki!
I hope you are doing great! I really hope my curse will stop someday because I want to own a MacBook at some point in my life and it would be horrible to destrow it.

In German we just say "Kresse" but I am sure it is the same thing. tastes so yummy!

Haha, ugly sweater party sounds awesome. And I can understand that you did not feel like socializing at all. I often feel like that too!

Hope you will have a wonderful Christmas! Love and Hugs from all of us!

    1. It might be called watercress. In German it is just called "Kresse". It's really delicious, a little spicy!

Haha yeah, I think it is better when you don't see any people wearing matching sweaters at all! :)
