Confession #1.
Vegan cheese makes me happy. I got some Daiya cheese yesterday and now I want to eat nothing else.
I have found my holy grail of moisturisers. I am using the MuLondon Organic White Chocolate Truffle moisturiser for a while now and my skin feels so soft. And the smell is so heavenly. Plus it reminds me of my childhood. A review will follow soon. And that's definitely not my last MuLondon product.
My Mother's birthday is on Tuesday. Or would be. I still celebrate it. And I will never stop. I miss her every day but days like that are especially difficult.

Confession #1.
I can't even tell you how excited I got when I found out yesterday that Norman Reedus supports Cruelty Free International. That guy is one of my favorite actors. Boondock Saints is my all time favorite movie and I am a Reedus fan since I saw that movie for the first time. He is also my favorite bad ass in Walking Dead. And now this? Thanks, Norman Reedus. You rock!
Maybe America and the rest of the world will listen to him.
My current food addictions are watermelon (still), corn on the cob and fried tofu with veggies. And I will never understand why people think that spare ribs look delicious.
Confession #3.
I can't wait to finally see some more Breaking Bad tonight. I can't even put into words how excited I am. I feel like a little kid waiting for the Christmas gifts. But I am also sad because I know that there are only 8 episodes left. I probably need to watch it all over again.
Hallo meine Lieben, time for some confessions before Sunday is over. I am a little late this time but I have been pretty busy all day long.
Number 1.
I think I want to change my hair color and be a brunette. I am naturally blonde but I am kind of sick of it and I already looked for a natural and vegan hair color. I might wait until fall though. I am thinking about this for months now and I think it's time to just do it.
Number 2.
I am very proud of my Dad because he rescued an exhausted mail pigeon from a busy street.
Number 3.
I think I am an okay cook but my baking skills are not that great (because I always change the recipes the way I want to and don't measure the ingredients) so I want to become a better baker. Because I do enjoy baking a lot. And now I want to make the things I bake look and taste good.

I had the same dinner 4 times in a row and I am planning to cook it again tonight. I am talking about vegan pancakes filled with broccoli, corn and mushrooms in a tomato-hummus-chili sauce. Yes, it is that good.

I bought a pretty girly birthday card for my Dad. The card is pink and there is a cat on it who is wearing a glittery tiara. There are also some fake diamonds glued on it. I am sure he will love the card.
Confession #3.
I like looking at trees. It feels very comforting to do that.

I know it is not Sunday and I apologize for being late but I just did not find the time to write a blog post yesterday. Don't know why.
Here are my confessions.
Confession #1.
I really want to steal our neighbor's cats. They always come over to cuddle with me. Well, I guess they come over because we also feed them but I still think they like me. How many cats do you need to have to count as a crazy cat lady?

Confession #2.
I am currently having an unhealthy addiction to the song "Don't You Want Me" by The Human League. I can't get it out of my head so I gave up trying and now I am listening to it in an endless loop.
Confession #3.
I love to play the Friends trivia game because I can answer pretty much all the questions correctly.
Happy Easter evertbody! I hope you are all enjoying your holidays! I want to use this day to make some very important confessions. Number 1. I would so love to buy some spring clothes but I am trying to spend as less money as possible right now so I can't go shopping for spring clothes which is a little sad. But that's my plan and I will stick to it. Number 2. Sometimes I really want to punch some people in the face. Number 3. Heather wrote a great post called 10 reasons I love the German mountains and reminded me of David der Kabauter (David the gnome) and now the German theme song is stuck in my head. I am singing it the whole time.
Number 4. When I was a child I wanted to move in with David der Kabauter and his wife. I mean, come on, he lives in a gnome house hidden in the deep woods and his friend is a fox called Swift. He can talk with the animals, read the stars and only eats nuts and fruits. To be honest, I still want to move in with them. Number 5. I love to listen to the theme songs of shows that I watched when I was a child. Inspector Gadget, Alfred J. Kwak, Heidi, Turtles, Biene Maya, Chip & Chap (Chip and Dale in English)....love all of them! Listening to these songs always makes me happy. And I have to say that although I prefer to watch shows in English, the theme songs of German children shows are always better than the American ones. The worst one is the American intro for Inspector Gadget. Bah.

Number three. A couple of years ago I bought the most expensive shoes I ever owned. I never spent that much money for a pair of shoes again. They were 200 Euros (260 dollars) and I found them on a trip to the Netherlands. I know that some people spend a lot more money for shoes but this was a whole lot of money to spend on a pair of shoes for me. But I had to buy them. And the thing is that I only wore them 5 times. I guess because I don't want to ruin them. I don't know. First I decided not to buy them but the next day I had to drive an hour back to the store where I saw them. Number four. I still discover new exciting things in the English language. Last week I found out what a "car boot sale" is. And it is not what I thought it would be. Fascinating. Number five. There are some words in the English language that I really dislike because I always seem to say them in the wrong way. Or they just sound stupid when I say them. Some of these words are: "owl", "comfortable", "sewing", "legit", "vehicle" and so on. Don't know why I struggle with them.

I have a new TV show addiction and I can't believe that I did not start to watch this show earlier. It's "Bones". I was looking for another crime show to watch and Bones seemed to be perfect. And it is. Great characters and lots of rotten bones. My favorite character is Hodgins because of all the conspiracy theories and because he gets so excited about exploding things.
I really need to find more time for blogging. There are so many things I want to do, there are so many things I want to tell you about, I want to change the design (finally), I want to do some more crafty things and share them with you, I also want to share some recipes. I feel bad about this blog right now because I have the feeling that I could do so much more with this blog. Please be patient with me!
Confession #4.
I don't know why but I don't really feel like drinking coffee at the moment which is weird because I usually drink coffee every morning. But at the moment I only drink tea. Lots of tea.

I really tried to take some nice pictures of Muse but I had to accept that my iPhone camera is not good enough to take concert pictures. Even when you stand in second row and the girl in front of you is 2 heads smaller than you. Sadly my other camera broke on our trip to Vegas (I really destroy all my electronic devices. It is a curse, I know it.). But yeah, I tried.
Confession #2. I felt a little bad when I did not stop complaining about the cold when we waited in line and the girl in front of me only wore a t-shirt and did not complain at all. I wore a coat but to my defense, it wasn't the warmest coat I have. Confession #3. I thought about getting a shirt after the concert but I did not want to wait in line for an hour to spend 35/40 dollars for a shirt. But still, it would be nice to have a Muse shirt. Confession #4. I really really really really wanted to steal Matthew Bellamy's jacket. Perfect jacket. Sorry you can't really see it in the picture. I will try to find a better one. But it was great. Confession #5. I need to get a piano. Pianos are awesome and I need to learn how to play. I also need a bigger living room because there is not much space for a piano right now. And I need the same Matthew Bellamy owns. A plexiglass piano. With lights.

I still haven't sorted the pictures from the trip to Vegas. They are not even on my computer yet. It is a shame. I have so much to tell you guys about the trip but I just need some time to sort through all the hundreds of pictures.
Confession #2.
I really feel like something is wrong with me. It was freezing cold in Vegas, at least in my opinion. I wore boots, a warm coat and a scarf. One evening on my way to the Sephora store I saw a girl wearing a short dress and no shoes. I don't know if she was so drunk that she did not feel the cold or if I am just a pussy when it comes to cold weather. I have no idea...But my feet need to be warm. Plus I think that walking barefoot in a city is pretty gross.
Confession #3.
I really feel the need to make some fancy cake pops. I just need a cake pop maker. I have no idea why I am so obsessed with cake pops right now but I love to idea of making delicious bites of cake on a stick. I have no problem with eating a normal sized piece of cake but these cake balls look so cute.
I finished the third book of the Carl Morck series by Jussi Adler Olsen and now I am too scared to start the fourth book because it is the last book of the series so far. I don't know when the fifth book will get published. I don't want to be without these books.

I am writing this on a Tuesday. But you won't be able to read this before Sunday which is totally confusing for me because when you read this I will already be in Las Vegas. But right now I am still sitting here in snowy Ohio and writing a blog post for next Sunday.
It is totally weird to schedule a blog post. I usually don't do that just because I never find the time to write posts in advance.
Confession #2.
I would like to play Ice Hockey. I don't know why because I am not very talented on ice skates and I would probably break all the bones in my body but I am sure I would enjoy it.
The last time I went ice skating I ended up with a very painful haematoma on my tailbone.
Confession #3.
I really dislike folding the laundry and ironing. Every other housework is okay.
Confession #4.
I would like to start exercising again but I have a totally great excuse not to go out running: it is way too cold. I am not sure what my excuse will be when it starts getting warmer. But I guess I should at least start doing yoga again.

I found some vegan shrimps in a store yesterday and I am very excited to try them. I hope they taste great. I want to roast them with some garlic and olive oil and then eat them with pasta. I really hope I won't be disappointed.
Confession #4.
I will try to bake banana muffins today and I am a little scared that they might turn out like the last muffins I made. I guess I am just not a very talented baker.
Confession #5.
I got cotton wool and knitting needles and now I just need to have the courage to start knitting. And maybe learn how to knit. My first project is a scarf.

I have some ideas for a new blog design but did not have any time to work on it yet. But I really feel like changing the design. I am bored of this one plus it does not look very professional.

I wasn't able to finish watching this video because I know what will happen at the end and the beginning already touched me so much that I had to start crying. I can't understand how an industry can be so cruel. It makes me so incredibly sad and I can't understand this world anymore (that is nothing new though).
I really wish I would have more time for blogging, visiting blogs, commenting, responding to comments. I also would love to have more time for other things I enjoy. Kind of sad.

I started to watch the latest episode of The Mentalist six times but still haven't finished it. I always fall asleep because I usually start to watch around midnight.

I need some new cookbooks for inspiration. This one looks pretty awesome. I feel so bored in the kitchen. I cook the same stuff all the time and I really need something new.

Sometimes I have so many ideas in my head that I can't concentrate on one thing anymore. I get totally confused and that makes me angry. I just don't know what to do against it.

For a couple of days I can't get the way the Ewoks talk out of my head. It gets pretty annoying. I did not even watch Star Wars recently. I guess I am weird. It is a like a really weird ear worm.
My new food addiction might be lychee. I ate 20 of them in less than 15 minutes.

I got an iTunes gift card and I can't decide what I want to buy for it. I guess ebooks or audio books. But it is always so hard to decide. Well, I guess that is a world-shattering problem.

I wish I would be a movie director. In school I took a test what would be the best job for me and it said movie director. Never went after that. Kind of sad.

I don't really care that much about New Year's Eve. I don't care if it is 2012 or 2013, I don't really have any resolutions, there are just things I want to do that make my happy. But that has nothing to do with one year ending and the other one beginning.

When I see a rainworm on the sidewalk or the street then I stop, pick the rainworm up and bring him/her to a safe place. I really like all animals and I can't see them in danger.

I am pretty sure that Patrick Jane's hair (the main guy from The Mentalist) feels like plastic because that is what he told me in my dream a couple of nights ago.
One of my friends is pregnant and her doctor says that the baby will probably be born July 13 which is my birthday too. So I am counting on that baby to be in time!

My next big project is to sew my own sweater. I got literature about sewing and now I just need to figure out how my Mom's old sewing machine works.

When I find a spider in one of the rooms I bring him or her into the basement because I don't want the spider to be outside in the cold. They can all stay in the basement where it is warm and go back outside when it is warmer.

David is recording some new songs and I have to say that he is so damn good. I could never do anything like that.

My sister-in-law got engaged yesterday and I am so excited and happy for them. And I can't wait to celebrate their wedding!

The weirdest thing I have heard this week is that only good people with guns can protect you from bad people with guns. Yeah, that's the solution! More guns. And so good that every person with a gun has a sign on his or her forehead that tells you if the person is good or bad.

Confession #1.
I have two new food addictions.
One is cress on bread with some soy margarine. I saw some cress in the store yesterday and immediately wanted to eat nothing else but cress all the time. Don't know why because I probably haven't eaten any cress for over a year. But it's so good that I decided that I need it more often. So I eat that for lunch and dinner.
As for breakfast I have another food addcition which is Müsli with soy yogurt. Sounds boring, tastes great.
I am still cursed. but not as bad as before. At least at the moment. I thought I broke my external hard drive because it did not react anymore. But then I tried to use a new cable and it worked again. What a success.
But David says I should get another hard drive to back up my back-up. I guess he's right. You have to be extra careful when you are cursed.
Confession #3.
I am a little irritated by couples wearing matching holiday sweaters. Maybe it is because I am not used to that. There is no such thing in Germany. But yeah, it is kind of cute.
I got a book about sewing and I have to say that the first couple of pages look fine but then it gets really confusing. But I guess it is all about learning by doing. My goal is to make my own sweater in 2013 but hopefully it will be more than that.
Confession #5.
It totally confuses me that you write "yogurt" in German like that: Joghurt. So I always spell it wrong now, no matter in what language.

I am thinking about trying to sew my own clothes because I have so many ideas but I have no idea how to start. I have no idea how to sew. I have an old sewing machine from my mom but no knowledge about sewing at all. Maybe I should start by taking some sewing lessons. I would really like to learn that.
Confession #3.
I planned to bake some Christmas cookies this weekend but did not make any so far. I am lame. Maybe next weekend.
Confession #4.
It makes me sick that I am not able to help every poor animal on earth. I feel so helpless.
Confession #5.
When I really love a song then I listen to it over and over again. 50 times in a row. And it does not ruin the song at all.

Sometimes I can barely stand the fact that I live in a world where teenagers burn a hedgehog alive for fun, where millions of male chicken get killed immediately after they were born, where animals are treated like machines and people never learned to treat animals with respects. I can't even describe how this makes me feel. Angry, sad, mad, upset....
Confession #2.
It would really make me happy to have a space to live where I am able to offer a home to all kinds of animals. Donkeys, goats, chicken and so on.
Confession #3.
I have an Advent calendar every year of my life since I was born and I don't plan on changing that. Never ever. I know it is something for kids but I want to have an Advent calendar even when I am 80. I prefer handmade and filled ones.
I started to watch The Mindy Project and I really like the characters, especially nurse Morgan. But I think the theme melody is more than awful.
By the way: Thanks to David for making me watch it! You rock!

I love drawing but I recently found out that I can't draw bunnies. Other animals yes. But the bunnies I draw look like a kindergarten child drew them.
A question for my German friends:
Did you ever watch "Die Lümmel von der ersten Bank"? Did you like them? I would love to watch them again. I watched them over and over when I was a child.
