I confess....

Hallo meine Lieben,

Happy Easter evertbody! I hope you are all enjoying your holidays! I want to use this day to make some very important confessions. 

 Number 1.

 I would so love to buy some spring clothes but I am trying to spend as less money as possible right now so I can't go shopping for spring clothes which is a little sad.  But that's my plan and I will stick to it. 

 Number 2.

 Sometimes I really want to punch some people in the face.

 Number 3. 

 Heather wrote a great post called 10 reasons I love the German mountains and reminded me of David der Kabauter (David the gnome) and now the German theme song is stuck in my head.  I am singing it the whole time.

Number 4.

 When I was a child I wanted to move in with David der Kabauter and his wife. I mean, come on, he lives in a gnome house hidden in the deep woods and his friend is a fox called Swift. He can talk with the animals, read the stars and only eats nuts and fruits. 
To be honest, I still want to move in with them. 

 Number 5.

 I love to listen to the theme songs of shows that I watched when I was a child. Inspector Gadget, Alfred J. Kwak, Heidi, Turtles, Biene Maya, Chip & Chap (Chip and Dale in English)....love all of them! Listening to these songs always makes me happy.
And I have to say that although I prefer to watch shows in English, the theme songs of German children shows are always better than the American ones. The worst one is the American intro for Inspector Gadget. Bah.

    I want to go shopping for spring clothes too but, like you, have put myself on a budget. Being responsible is dumb! Have a wonderful Easter!

    Frohe Ostern! Ich würde auch so gerne für den Frühling einkaufen. Aber bei dem Wetter denkt man eher an Herbst, als an luftig leichte und bunte Kleidung. Wir haben immer noch fast jeden Abend den Kamin an.

    Hi, Katrin! Happy Easter to you, too! ;) I also want to go on a shopping spree! Geez! Why is so hard not to spend money? :/

    And I totally want to punch people in their face, too, especially the punk ass teens that go the library I work at and are mean and make out in the aisles, huh ...

    I don't think I've heard the Inspector Gadget or Heidi intros in English, haha. Love them both. So many memories!

    My 'to buy' list is sooo long, it's nice to see others in the same predicament too. My confession would be that I haven't had a single Easter egg! Soo sad! xoxox

      I did not have one either! You are not alone! :) And yes, there are so many things I want to own but I really want to save money at the moment! It is sad!

    I already forgot about David, der Kabauter. Loved watching the series as a child! And now I have an "earworm" - the Inspector Gadget theme - loved that one, too.

    I can relate to number 2, some people just makes you so mad.

    german was sounds funny to me so those german theme songs sounds fun. is it the language or the music? I think they usually translate the words and not the music.

      Yeah, some people would deserve it! :)

      The German inspector gadget theme has a lot more lyrics than the American one and I don't know why. I definitely like that better. German can sound harsh but I am used to it. :)
