Happy Easter evertbody! I hope you are all enjoying your holidays! I want to use this day to make some very important confessions.
Number 1.
I would so love to buy some spring clothes but I am trying to spend as less money as possible right now so I can't go shopping for spring clothes which is a little sad. But that's my plan and I will stick to it.
Number 2.
Sometimes I really want to punch some people in the face.
Number 3.
Heather wrote a great post called 10 reasons I love the German mountains and reminded me of David der Kabauter (David the gnome) and now the German theme song is stuck in my head. I am singing it the whole time.
When I was a child I wanted to move in with David der Kabauter and his wife. I mean, come on, he lives in a gnome house hidden in the deep woods and his friend is a fox called Swift. He can talk with the animals, read the stars and only eats nuts and fruits.
To be honest, I still want to move in with them.
Number 5.
I love to listen to the theme songs of shows that I watched when I was a child. Inspector Gadget, Alfred J. Kwak, Heidi, Turtles, Biene Maya, Chip & Chap (Chip and Dale in English)....love all of them! Listening to these songs always makes me happy.
And I have to say that although I prefer to watch shows in English, the theme songs of German children shows are always better than the American ones. The worst one is the American intro for Inspector Gadget. Bah.
What makes you happy?
Have a wonderful Easter Sunday!
I want to go shopping for spring clothes too but, like you, have put myself on a budget. Being responsible is dumb! Have a wonderful Easter!
ReplyDeleteYeah, sometimes it is really stupid to be responsible. :)
DeleteHope you had a great Easter!
Happy Easter Katrin! :) ~Stephanie
ReplyDeleteHope you had the most wonderful holiday!
DeleteI want to shop for spring clothes but its still snowing here!!! (Also trying to save money...)
ReplyDeleteYeah, it is way too cold for spring clothes!
DeleteFrohe Ostern!
DeleteI definitely agree with number two! Happy Easter! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you agree! Hope you had a great holiday!
DeleteHi, Katrin! Happy Easter to you, too! ;) I also want to go on a shopping spree! Geez! Why is so hard not to spend money? :/
ReplyDeleteAnd I totally want to punch people in their face, too, especially the punk ass teens that go the library I work at and are mean and make out in the aisles, huh ...
I don't think I've heard the Inspector Gadget or Heidi intros in English, haha. Love them both. So many memories!
Hope your week's off to a great start! ;D
I don't know why it is so hard! Mean! I would love to go shopping! And I need warmer temperatures!
DeleteHaha, I can understand that you want to punch them!
Love all the memories! :)
Have a wonderful time, dear Miki!
My 'to buy' list is sooo long, it's nice to see others in the same predicament too. My confession would be that I haven't had a single Easter egg! Soo sad! xoxox
ReplyDeleteI did not have one either! You are not alone! :) And yes, there are so many things I want to own but I really want to save money at the moment! It is sad!
DeleteHappy Easter, dear Katrin!
ReplyDeleteI would so love to punch some people in the face!
And I would love to buy some spring clothes, but I don't want to spend so much money either, so we'll see how that works.
Hope your weekend was wonderful!
Hugs xxx
Hope you had a wonderful holiday, Chrissy!
DeleteAnd yeah, sometimes it is hard to resist! :)
Not spending money can be hard!
Hugs!
A huge smile spread on my face reading your post :)
ReplyDeleteI already forgot about David, der Kabauter. Loved watching the series as a child! And now I have an "earworm" - the Inspector Gadget theme - loved that one, too.
Oh those memories the series bring that you mentioned ;)
Ich hoffe, Du hattest ein wunderschönes Osterwochenende, liebe Katrin.
Ich drücke Dich gaaanz fest!
Yeah, David der Kabauter is pretty awesome! :) Sorry for the earworm though! Hope you got rid of it again!
DeleteLass es Dir so richtig gutgehen, Liebes! Ich drueck Dich!
I can relate to number 2, some people just makes you so mad.
ReplyDeletegerman was sounds funny to me so those german theme songs sounds fun. is it the language or the music? I think they usually translate the words and not the music.
thanks for sharing. have a sweet day.
Yeah, some people would deserve it! :)
DeleteThe German inspector gadget theme has a lot more lyrics than the American one and I don't know why. I definitely like that better. German can sound harsh but I am used to it. :)
Have a lovely day!
I hate to admit it and it makes me a bad person....but there are times that I agree with number 3 too !!
ReplyDeleteThen I am a bad person too. :)
DeleteGah I wish I could wear spring clothes! Almost...
ReplyDeleteIt's time!
DeleteThanks for the shout-out Katrin! And sorry I got that song stuck in your head :/ At least it's a peppy song!
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome! And that is fine, I love the song! :)
DeleteI wouldn't mind living in the woods with a fox for a friend either! :)
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be awesome! :)
DeleteI was all about Number 2 this past weekend! Sometimes we just have to count to ten, take a deep breath, and walk away ;)
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, that is so true!
