I hope you are all having a wonderful week. It is time to share some more pictures of our recent trip to Las Vegas. You can find part one of this post here.
Number one.
I guess that most of you know that I am not a fan of the gun control law in America (there's not much control) but it was interesting to virtually shoot a fugitive in the Mob Museum. And I was pretty good at it. The guy had no chance. But I won't go and buy a gun now.
Number two.
Number three.
This was a fascinating experiment at the National Atomic Testing Museum. We just could not figure out how it works. It will remain a mystery.
Number four.
Stephanie from meet.make.laugh., they named a street after you! Isn't that nice?
Number five.
We were inside the Hoover Dam and there was water running down the walls. I am scared of water. So no surprise that I look a little worried in this picture.
Number six.
You can see it in my face: there was too much water for my taste. What I love about Hoover Dam is that it is an hour later when you cross the bridge. You are in Arizona then. Very interesting for a German girl who only knows one timezone.
Number seven.
David with his Alien Burger in the Little A'Le'Inn in Rachel, Nevada. My fries did not contain any alien meat.
Number eight.
Advertising for a wedding chapel. Pretty cool. You can see me in the picture too.
Number nine.
Number ten.
These are the Forum Shops at the Ceasar's Palace. Quite impressive for a mall. They also have a nice mixture of shops there. A lot of stuff I can't afford and don't even want to buy (Christian Louboutin, Chanel etc.) but also Sephora and H&M. A really huge H&M by the way.
To be continued....
I just love that y'all went to area 51 - I'm pretty sure that's an UFO too ;)
ReplyDeleteit was an awesome trip! glad you think it too!
Deletei should see that area 51!
ReplyDeletethere is not much to see but it is exciting. :)

ReplyDeleteglad you like the pictures! we wanted to see as many things as possible in the area!

ReplyDeletethank you, it really was!
DeleteHaha awesome. Love me some Vegas. :)
ReplyDeleteglad you like it!
DeleteLove your pics! I could not ever go near a dam like that though. I'd be panicking and hyperventilating. You're braver than I am!!
ReplyDeletewell, i am glad that i never had to go closer to the water. it was a weird feeling but i am fine as long as i don't have to go into the water. i am sorry that you are having such a hard time with water too!
DeleteThat thing is definitely an alien! :)
ReplyDeleteglad you think so too!
DeleteYour Las Vegas trip looks like so much fun! When I hear the words Las Vegas I only think of all the gambling places - but it's so much more! Love the pics, all of them :) Maybe I should add Las Vegas to the places I definitely need to see some time!
ReplyDeleteIch drücke Dich noch Mal gaaaaaanz feste :)
It really was so much fun! And there is more than just gambling! If you ever have the chance to visit you should go!:)
DeleteIch drueck Dich!
Ysy, more Vegas pics! :p I bet being inside that dam must have been terrifying!
ReplyDeleteAnd as for street names, I find it pretty odd that they let you name a section of a road after you, haha. When David told me about it, I thought he was joking.
Yeah, that dam was a bit terrifying! I was scared that it could break!
DeleteI would love to have a street named after me, I would totally move there. :)
Las Vegas is like Disneyland for adults, right? By the way Caesar's Palace also has an escalator which goes up in a spiral - that is also something worth noting as it is not all that common.
ReplyDeleteI didn't get to see lots of the area around (only the freeway from Los Angeles) but what I found most hilarious was a freeway exit marked as Xxyyz (seriously, it was something like that). It took me all my willpower not to stop the car and turn around in order to see what was there ;-)
Yeah, that is exactly how it feels like. All the time I thought that I am not in the real world.
DeleteOh no, I missed that escalator! I did not know about that! It would have been great to see it!
Haha, I guess I would have wanted to stop too! I have never seen anything like that!
