Sunday Confessions! Knitting, books, banana muffins and vegan shrimps.

Hallo meine Lieben,

I really hope your weekend is going great! It is Sunday which means that I am linking up with lovely Alyx from Every Day Is A New Adventure and that I finally have some time to catch up with all your lovely blogs. The last days have been pretty hectic so I am excited to read what you guys experienced in the last days.

Confession #1.

I am a little scared that you might get sick of me because I am behind on reading your blogs and commenting. I am really sorry about that and I promise to get better. Don't leave me, please!

Confession #2.

I have only finished reading 2 books so far this year. I would love to read at least 50 books  but I guess that won't happen. I just don't find enough time to read as much as I want.

Confession #3.

I found some vegan shrimps in a store yesterday and I am very excited to try them. I hope they taste great. I want to roast them with some garlic and olive oil and then eat them with pasta. I really hope I won't be disappointed.

Confession #4.

I will try to bake banana muffins today and I am a little scared that they might turn out like the last muffins I made. I guess I am just not a very talented baker.

Confession #5.

I got cotton wool and knitting needles and now I just need to have the courage to start knitting. And maybe learn how to knit. My first project is a scarf.

What do you have to confess? Have a wonderful weekend!

  3. I'm behind in my books too. It's partially because Gone Girl was kinda tough to get into for me and now it's because I don't care about any of the characters in the book I'm reading. But I really want to get it done.

Yeah, I can imagine how you feel about the book. Also sometimes it makes me a little sad when I finish a book too fast!

  10. When I was learning to knit, the videos on http://www.knittinghelp.com/ were SO helpful when I'd get confused about how to do a stitch.

  11. I'm with you on #4 but then I am completely lost in the kitchen but at least you can try to make something.

I can relate to #1 very much. even when I have the time, I just don't know what to say. sometimes I think I write the same comments on different blogs and don't even know it. there is just some much one can say without sounding rude or offending but I always try to leave encourging comments, which I often get as well, even very brief ones could mean alot to someone.

so, hope you have success with your banana muffins. have a sweet day.

  12. Hi, my dearest Katrin! ;p First and foremost, let me apologize for not having replied your latest e-mail; shame on me! :/ You are in thoughts, though, that's for sure! ;) Hope you're getting my good vibes! Be happy that soon you'll be in David's arms and enjoying a well-deserved trip, hooray to that!

I wish I knew how to knit, haha, I tried a scarf years ago and my mom had to finish it because I messed up inexplicably.

And hey, I'll never stop following your blog! And even if you stopped blogging, I'd still follow you somehow ;) ... In a totally non-creepy way, btw, haha!

Lots of hugs your way! ;D And hope you have a wonderful week!

  15. Great that you are learning how to knit! I taught myself about 10 years ago over Spring Break.

I don't know how you feel about wool, but it really is the best to knit with. Cotton yarn is actually harder to knit with!

    1. It is awesome that you taught yourself! I have to admit that I am not very good at knitting so far. :)

I have tried cotton yarn and I guess you are right and it is pretty hard to knit with it!
