Sunday Confessions. Lack of time, Christmas cookies and sewing skills.

Hallo meine Lieben,

how is your Sunday going? Do you have snow? Or how is the weather where you live?

Well, no matter what season you have, I am linking up with fabulous Alyx from Every Day Is A New Adventure for some Sunday Confessions.

Confession #1.

I really wish I'd have more time for blogging. My blog is so boring at the moment. There are so many things I want to share with you, so many pictures...there are so many creative ideas that I want to work on and share with you, I have so many topics to talk about. But I barely have time to spend a lot of time blogging at the moment. I apologize for that and I hope you won't leave me. I promise this will change and the blog will be more interesting. Thanks for sticking with me. You rock!

Confession #2.

I am thinking about trying to sew my own clothes because I have so many ideas but I have no idea how to start. I have no idea how to sew. I have an old sewing machine from my mom but no knowledge about sewing at all. Maybe I should start by taking some sewing lessons.  I would really like to learn that.

Confession #3.

I planned to bake some Christmas cookies this weekend but did not make any so far. I am lame. Maybe next weekend.

Confession #4.

It makes me sick that I am not able to help every poor animal on earth. I feel so helpless.

Confession #5.

When I really love a song then I listen to it over and over again. 50 times in a row. And it does not ruin the song at all.

What do you have to confess? How is your weekend going?

  1. I listen to a song I love like a million times in a row and it doesn't ruin it! I put them on repeat while knitting on my earphones, otherwise it would drive the hubs insane, lol!

Your blog is not boring but I do look forward to reading more and seeing more pictures of what you are up to!

  5. I always plan on making cookies...and then it doesn't happen. I think that just might be a fact of life. :D

    Love your blog!

  6. I'm with you on #5 and wish I could do #3, I can barely boil water so baking is too high a step for me.

hope you have a great day.

  7. You should totally learn to sew! Even if you don't end up sewing all of your own clothes, it feels good to know that you can do it if and when you want to. I'm planning on sewing my wedding dress... something I never would have had the confidence to do otherwise.

  8. KATRIN. You are not boring. Your blog is not boring. Even if I don't always comment, I always love reading what you have to say. You are awesome, and that's good enough for me. Also, you should definitely learn how to sew! It's really not as hard as people make it out to be. If I can do it (sort of), you can do it!!! And I do the same thing with songs.

    Thansk for linking up!

  9. I love to sew as well. The best place to start is by taking the basic classes, also reading books on sewing really helped me as well. Usually when I go to the fabric stores the staff are also very knowledgable which is great.
I don't think your blog is boring but I guess we are always the hardest on ourselves.

  10. I feel exactly the same way as you about #1, 2, 4! Not having time to blog stinks, but I guess it's also good because it means we're busy with real life, ha.

And do you know what? We often think there's nothing we can do to help animals, but the truth is there's always something good we can do :). Maybe join a shelter or organization? They're always in seek for volunteers and of course, funds.

Hope you have an awesome week, awesome Katrin! ;D And have fun playing with snow! :P

  11. I taught myself how to sew. I only know to sew bags and pillowcases but I want to learn how to sew my on skirts.

I have been known to listen to the same song for hours on end and I never tire of it.

It's my first time visiting and I think your blog is pretty darn interesting. :)

  12. I'm so guilty of #5. I once made a CD with 20 versions of the same song so it'd just play over and over

  13. I asked for a sewing machine for Christmas! I really don't know how to sew either. We can totally learn, right? And I'm so guilty of listening to a song over and over. I just want to learn all the lyrics haha.

  16. I am right there with you on #5. I know that I probably drive everyone around me nuts. Right now I'm listening to Les Tomber Les Filles by France Gall over and over! It's an oldie but a goodie :)
