Ten things you will never hear me say.

Hallo meine Lieben,

how is your weekend going? Hope you are having a great one.
I ordered some books a couple of days ago (mostly crime novels) and now I am waiting for my package to arrive. Hopefully tomorrow. I can't wait.

Today, I want to share with you some sentences that you will never hear me say. So it totally makes sense to write them down.

One.
I want to eat some meat.

Two.
American football is so much better than Fußball.

Three.
Can I have some onions, please?

Four.
Pets are not family members.

Five.
I would love to swim in the Atlantic Ocean.

Six.
Books are so boring.

Seven.
Can you turn off the heater, please?  It is too warm in here.

Eight.
I am not in the mood for dessert.

Nine.
I don't want to watch this horror movie, it is so scary.

Ten.
Don't be so childish, act like an adult.

Are there any things that you will never say?
Have a happy Sunday!

  1. definitely everything I won't ever say except for #9 - I'm too much of a scary cat to watch or read horror. of cause, I think it's more of a personal preference than anything.

here's something I'll never say, "I love the heat." it's getting rather hot in NY and I'm not sure I'm ready for summer yet.

hope you have a sweet day.

    1. I don't love the heat either! I just can't stand that. Spring or autumn temperatures are more my thing, well summer days are okay when they are not too hot!
      Have a lovely day!

  2. I love these! I should probably do this. That kitten pic is adorable.

  3. I agree with most of the things you said, but I would add:

    1. Science is so boring.
    2. Let's meet at McDonalds.
    3. (Coffee or Tea) Coffee please.
    4. Let's do shots!
    5. I really want an android phone.

    1. Yeah, I agree to all of them. Except of the fact that I drink a coffee maybe twice a month. :)

  4. Of your list, I would not say 2 (I don't really like American football. While I'm not huge into Fussball and don't really follow it, I will watch it if it's on. I've actually considered seeing if I can learn to play Fussball while I'm over here), 4 (my dogs are family), and 6 (Some books are boring, but books in general are not).

Other things I will probably never say: 1 I can't wait to go back to America (I love America and there's a lot I want to see there, but I'm enjoying my time here and I really don't understand the people who got sick of it within the first year and couldn't wait to get back to the States). 2 I'm excited to get up early (Even after working at 9 am the last several months 8 am still comes too early for me sometimes). 3 I love the sound of dogs barking (I love my dogs but they're driving me batty right now barking at the neighbors. I am hoping the fact our new apartment will be on the 4th floor will keep them from barking at everyone who pulls up or walks by) 4. I'm ready to have kids (I don't want to have kids and working with them for the last year hasn't changed my mind so I'm pretty sure nothing is going to. One of the perks of leaving this job will be not having someone question, or worse criticize, my reproductive choices every other day...sadly it was usually the same few people who kept bringing it up like maybe I did a 180 in the hours since they'd last seen me).

    1. I hope you can go to a Fußball match as long as you are in Germany! They are really exciting!

I am glad you are enjoying your time in Germany! I hate getting up early too. It always makes me feel bad. I like to stay up long! I am not ready to have kids either! :)

    2. Maybe one of these days. We stopped in a bar the other day and a match was on and we headed back out. Way too many people and shouting in such a small space lol.

:-) Yeah it's no fun especially since I am up late very often, like tonight. :)

    3. I love to watch soccer games in bars! Sure, it is crowded and loud and emotional but always lots of fun! :)

  5. That's a great post idea :) You wouldn't hear me say #2 to #9 either. I do have meat occasionally and in some situations I get annoyed when people are too childish.
You'd also not hear me say "I'll be so sad when my studies are over." and "Let's take the car, I don't like to walk".
Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
    Ich drück dich ganz fest!

    1. I don't think I'll say I'll be happy when my studies are over either. Although since I'm studying psychology and continuing education is a factor whether I do counseling or go on to be a psychologist, I don't think my studies will ever actually be 'over'.

    2. Yeah, that is true. The studying will always go on but it is definitely very relieving when you have your degree in your hands!

  6. Haha. Unfortunately, some of those are things I would say...
