Pancake mistakes, vegan handbags and bunny bookends. {Ten On Tuesday}

Hallo meine Lieben,

you can link up with my friend Alyssa for Ten On Tuesday here. Hope you are all having a fantastic week.

1. I started working out on a regular basis, at least for 30 days (You can read about it here) and one thing I realized is that cats love it when people work out. They even help you by jumping on your abs while training them. You can watch a compilation of people trying to do yoga while their pets are around on Cute Overload.

2.  My hero Philip Wollen discusses if hunting is a sport or "ignoble atrocity". Wise words, I can tell you. Please watch it, it is only 1:49 minutes long. I guess you already know what my opinion is...

3. By the way, here is a list of animals who are almost extinct. Thanks, human kind.

4. 17 of 30 days done of the Jillian Michaels Shred. I have to say that I am glad when it is over. I guess I will start with level 3 tomorrow. I feel a lot fitter but I can't see that woman anymore.

5. Would you please sign this petition and help a polar bear to have a better life?

6. If you read my blog before that I am obsessed with anything crime related...books, movies, documentaries etc. You can find out how to commit the perfect crime here. It's a pretty interesting documentary.

7. Do you often cook with polenta? If so, do you have any good recipes to share? My mom often used polenta and I always loved it and so I bought some recently but I am not sure what to do with it except of roasting it in a pan. I really need to try out some new recipes. I am kind of sick of all the stuff I usually cook.

8. I am totally obsessed with bookends right now.

9. When I make pancakes the first one always gets damaged. I don't know why but it happens every single time.

10. Do you remember my Jill Milan bag? I love this bag so much, I carry it around every single day. Seriously in love. You can find it here. All Jill Milan bags are made of vegan materials of course.

Have a wonderful rest of the week?

    1. Haha, I am sure your cat had fun watching you!
I am glad I am not the only one who can't make good looking pancakes. :)
Thanks! I love those shoes, I bought them in two more colors. Haha.

  2. Congrats on working out. It really does make a world of difference in how you feel both physically and mentally. Reading that list of endangered species makes me so sad. I love the brown spider monkeys.

    1. It definitely makes a difference. I feel so much better although I do not feel like working out every day. :) I am lazy!
The list in really sad. It's time that people step up and do something!

  3. Oh, I saw that cat yoga video! Mine like to "help" also.

I feel so terrible for that polar bear. People are so senselessly cruel. :(

Have you tried frying the polenta and serving it with roasted veggies and marinara sauce, sort of like a lasagna dish? I think I remember my mom making it like that.

    1. Haha, it seems like cats really love workouts. :)

Yeah, I hope they can help the polar bear! I feel so bad for him. People can be so horrible!

No, I have not tried this before but it sounds totally delicious! Thank you so much! I will definitely give it a try! Yummy!

  4. Remind me not to get on your bad side, with all your crime skills! :) Petition signed - that is so upsetting. I really hope we can have him transferred to Canada, back where he belongs! I'm not a fan of animals in captivity in general, but if they have to be (i.e. wouldn't survive in the wild) then the least we can do is give them a suitable place to live. Very upsetting.

    1. Hehe, yeah, I know how to make your body disappear. :D So don't mess with me. :)
Thank you so much for signing! You rock! I really don't understand people, it is so cruel. There are sanctuaries which can help animals who can't live in the wild anymore but those zoos are just cruel and horrible!

  5. My dog loves to be up in my face every.single.time I'm in the floor working out. It's annoying, but cute at the same time. :-) My pancakes turn out that way too. It's inevitable.

    1. Haha yeah I know what you mean. Your dog is even bigger than the cats so that might cause some problems while working out. :) Glad I am not the only horrible pancake maker. :)

  6. I usually mess up the first pancake too - even after years of making them. Not sure why! Love the bunny bookends. I have a bunny hopping around my kitchen right now - Snowball is the schools pet bunny and right now I'm taking her home every night! She's pretty cute! I'll have to post a pic on Instagram for you! :)

    1. It really is a mystery! I don't know why the first pancake always turns out in that way! So weird! I saw snowball on your Instagram and I am so in love with her! She is adorable! Thanks for posting the picture!

  9. There’s an Instagram account that I follow and she has a cat that watches her do yoga, which keeps her motivated and do it daily! It’s a pretty fascinating relationship, to see cats react to people working out. Speaking of polenta, I just had polenta today for lunch with zucchini & tomato sauce, pretty good! Polenta is one of the most popular ingredients in northern Italy in additions to risotto (rice is very big here), some tend to be white or yellow and usually made from semolina wheat. It was also the staple food way back then during the war. ;) I love your Jill Milan bag, it looks beautiful with your red loafers. ❤

    1. Haha, that sounds like an awesome cat! Which Instagram account is it? I would like to follow the yoga cat as well! My cats are definitely fascinated when I work out. Lumpi likes to fall asleep on my yoga mat. :) I have to try polenta with zucchini and tomato sauce, sounds so good! Thank you! I know that polenta is much more popular in Italian than it is in Germany. My mom always cooked polenta for me and I loved it!

  10. That is a gorgeous bag. I would be tempted to get it, but it's way out of my price range even at half off lol.
