Sunday Confessions. Runway reversal, cake pops and books that I don't want to start reading.

Hallo meine Lieben,

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! Mine is pretty uneventful so far but very relaxing. Except of all the stupid house cleaning and so on.
I am linking up with lovely Alyx from Every Day Is A New Adventure for some Sunday Confessions.

Confession #1.

I still haven't sorted the pictures from the trip to Vegas. They are not even on my computer yet. It is a shame. I have so much to tell you guys about the trip but I just need some time to sort through all the hundreds of pictures.

Confession #2.

I really feel like something is wrong with me. It was freezing cold in Vegas, at least in my opinion. I wore boots, a warm coat and a scarf. One evening on my way to the Sephora store I saw a girl wearing a short dress and no shoes. I don't know if she was so drunk that she did not feel the cold or if I am just a pussy when it comes to cold weather. I have no idea...But my feet need to be warm. Plus I think that walking barefoot in a city is pretty gross.

Confession #3.

I really feel the need to make some fancy cake pops. I just need a cake pop maker. I have no idea why I am so obsessed with cake pops right now but I love to idea of making delicious bites of cake on a stick. I have no problem with eating  a normal sized piece of cake but these cake balls look so cute.

Confession #4.

I finished the third book of the Carl Morck series by Jussi Adler Olsen and now I am too scared to start the fourth book because it is the last book of the series so far. I don't know when the fifth book will get published. I don't want to be without these books.

Confession #5.

This video might be shocking for some people but I just think it absolutely nails it.

Have a great Sunday!

  5. I too am really bad at sorting through photos ... and I know exactly what you mean about holding off reading a book so you don't run out!

  7. I thought that video was really great! Really makes a point.

I hate that part of reading a series and knowing that the later books aren't out yet!

  8. completely agreed about the shoe thing- what if you stepped on broken glass? :O (I admit I walk barefoot around my town all the time... but it's pretty small and safe XD)

and the book thing... ugh, I know how that feels! you just don't want to leave the universe behind, right?

    1. it is a series of crime novels/thrillers. the books are very exciting. it is about a police department in danmark which solves crimes that other departments couldn't solve.

  11. Hi, Katrin! I wanna see photos of your trip!!! :P

About #2, I feel the same way. I keep seeing lots of girls out there who wear shorts and tank tops when I'm wearing long sleeved clothes plus a coat ... What the heck is wrong with them???? Is their urge to show off their body so strong they're willing to get sick and be cold even though they pretend they're not?! Geez!

I made cake pops with a cake pop maker on Thursday and it was fun! :P Not only that, but the balls come out perfectly rounded in just 3 minutes! Plus, the device is really cheap, my coworker bought it for $10 at Target. I say, give it a go! ;D

And the video is certainly strong, but to the point.

    Have a wonderful week, Katrin!

Oh, and I don't want to think about cleaning the house, either, huh! I have a pile of dishes waiting in the sink, hehe.

i really don't understand how people can wear summer clothes in february. i mean, i even get cold with summer clothes in summer. :) maybe they all want to get a nice kidney infection or something like that!
