I want to share some random things with you today. If you want to join in, you can do it here.
I hope your week is going great so far!
1. I recently bought some kiwis which are hard like rocks. You can use them to get nails in your walls, I swear. I have never seen anything like that before. Usually I cut them in a half and then eat the halves out of the skin, with a spoon. Not possible here. They are definitely monster kiwis.
2. Happy World Book Day, everybody! I will celebrate by starting a new crime novel. I hope you can all find something great to read too.
3. I will finally go and see a hair stylist next week. It really is time. Well, more precisely, it would have been better to go months ago.
4. I would love to visit the Winchester Mystery House in Northern California. It is supposed to be one of the creepiest places ever. The owner built this house over the course of 38 years because a medium told her that she would die if she stops. It is haunted by all the ghosts of the people who got killed by Winchester rifles. Now the 1660-room house is a maze full of architectural oddities such as hidden rooms, mile-long hallways, secret passages, dead ends, doors opening to blank walls, staircases leading to the ceilings and so on. Sounds like the perfect place to me.
5. I like this one. Even when I don't really drink much coffee at the moment. Or wine.
6. I think "Bootsmann" is a great name for a dog. I would consider this as a name for my future dog. David isn't really amused. It's the name of the dog from the children's show "Ferien auf Saltkrokan" which I always watched as a kid.
7. I feel like doing a puzzle.
8. This news reporter is pretty awesome. Great job. But seriously, what is wrong with these girls? Bombs exploded and they have nothing better to do? Come on.
9. You can't have too many books.
10. My newest food addiction is soy yogurt mixed with vegan hazelnut spread and fruits in it. I eat that every night. So good. I also discovered that plain yogurt tastes awesome when you put some agave syrup in it.
Have a wonderful Tuesday, my lovelies!
Happy world book day!! A great excuse to start a new book :)
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is! Thanks, sweetie!
DeleteWinchster Mystery House sounds amazing!! I'm so adding that to my places I want to go bucket list. I also want to spend the night in the Mansfield Reformatory!
ReplyDeleteI just googled that place and it sounds so awesome! I would love to spend a night there. Sounds like lots of fun. I love all kind of haunted places and we always go and try to see as much as possible at Halloween!
DeleteI'm also getting my hair done next week.... and it has definitely been a year since my last cut! Whoops. I also feel like doing a puzzle. ~Stephanie
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I am not the only one! My last cut was last year in September! And that is exactly how it looks. Terrible. It really is time! Enjoy your appointment!
DeleteOh goodness I really need to go get my hair done too! It's been since October since I've had a cut or color! Maybe next month I'll make it!

That video is so weird!
I love hazelnut, peanut or almond butter on fruits. I'm eating that every day :) Haven't tried it with yoghurt yet, though. Sounds good, I'll have to check that out.
I hope you're having a great week.
Ich drück Dich gaaaaaanz feste :)

DeleteBootsmann sounds like an awesome name for a dog! I'm not sure I should visit a haunted house--I scare so easily as is!!!
ReplyDeleteI really love the name! I get scared too but it can be fun. :)
Delete1. Haha, monster kiwis.
ReplyDelete4. We've been wanting to go there for years. The hubs is from NorCal so he's always raved about it. Maybe we'll finally take a trip up there this summer.
5. Yes!
You should totally go and then tell me about it. :) I am sure it is an awesome place! I hope it is not too far to drive over there!
DeleteI think I need to print out that coffe/wine picture and frame it for my wall. It's far too true! :-)
ReplyDeleteI should do the same. :)
DeleteI've been eating the Mueller yogurt like crazy lately and I hope to finish a really great book tonight. What better day than world book day. Wuensche dir eine gute Nacht!
ReplyDeleteI hope you finished the book! :) I think it can be sad sometimes because when you really love a book then you don't want it to end. But on the other hand you can start a new one then. :)
DeleteThe Winchester House sounds perfectly creepy! Please go and blog about it.
ReplyDeleteI have only had one decent haircut since I moved to France three years ago, and that was when I went back to Texas almost two years ago! For some reason French people cannot handle my curls. But in three weeks, I'm going to Dublin and am already booked into see my old hairdresser and I CANNOT WAIT!!!
P.S. Bootsman is an awesome name for a dog!
Love the name too!
DeleteHopefully we can go to that Mystery House at some point. It is pretty far away. Unfortunately. But if we do a trip to California then I definitely want to go!
I totally know how you feel about the haircut! It really is time to get one! I think I have only been once in two years. It is a shame! Don't understand why the French can't handle your curls. That's a shame too.
Number 6- Ooooh my absolute favourite show as a kid (and I think I would still enjoy it just as much. It depicts summer in Scandinavia for me growing up. And of course "Båtsmann"(original) /Bootsman was a very cool dog :)
ReplyDeleteI like it in Swedish even better. :) Such a wonderful show! I would love to watch it again someday! And yeah, the dog is really wonderful!
