I have some confessions to make.

Hallo meine Lieben,

happy Saturday! I hope you can all enjoy the weekend. I will go to another flea market on Sunday so hopefully I can find some more books to buy.

Oh, most importantly: Happy International Rabbit Day! Tiffie and Findus are surely enjoying it. Give your bunnies some extra hugs. And please buy cruelty free and don't wear fur!

I confess....

... I currently eat marzipan on a daily basis.

... I love to eat at midnight.

... I do not work out as much as I want to right now.

... I could not stop myself from buying books this week.

... I know more facts about the tv show ER than I know facts about the stock market.

... I do not really care how exactly the stock market works. There are more interesting things in the world.

... I am thinking about doing an Icelandic language course.

... This video is so cute that I cannot stop watching.

... I do not care about most holidays but I like Halloween.

... I like poppy seeds way too much. When I bake then I always want to add them.

... I spent two hours sorting my crime novels last night.

... I have a bookshelf for my crime novels and the books are chronologically sorted by author.

... I also have a section for my Adrian Mole diaries, my Harry Potter books and all my vegan books.

... All my other books are not sorted at all. It's a mess.

... I have teapots which I never use. But they are fantastic decoration.

... I own lipstick but never use it.

Anything you want to confess? Have a fantastic weekend!

  4. Yay for international rabbit day!

There is a teapot museum in Amsterdam that is on my list of places to visit. :)

I understand the stock market only for the fact that it is an important factor in the economy and therefore politics which, as much as they try to make complicated and unreachable, is fundamental to our daily lives.

    1. Every day should be International Rabbit Day! :)

A teapot museum?! I did not know! I need to go there and visit as soon as possible!

Yeah, I understand the concept but other than that I do not really care. :) There are so many more interesting things to learn!

  5. Good luck on the Icelandic language course. If you need any help, let me know. One o hubby's friends is from Iceland - maybe he can help if you get stuck!!! :) I wish, I had the time to sort through my books - they are all over the house in different shelves in no order whatsoever. Oh well, it really doesn't bother me...

    1. Thank you so much, Susi! How cool is that, you have an Icelandic friend! I will let you know if I have any questions! Thank you! I know what you mean, the rest of my books look that way as well. I just wanted to have my crime novels together in one shelf!

  6. Yay for bunnies! And don't feel bad about the books--mine are a mess too. And on top of the ones on the shelves, there are books in boxes, books on tables, books on the floor, library books in bags...a mess. :)

  7. How many books do you think you own? Have you ever counted? I never buy them anymore, unless they're for Lexie. We just move to often to own anything. :(

    1. I have never counted. There are so many. :) I am lucky that I can leave most of them in my dad's house until I have my library. :) I also have all the books I got from my mom. I am not good at guessing. Maybe 400? 500? I don't know.

  8. I probably also know more facts about ER than the stock market. Actually, I know zero about the stock markets ;-)

Most of my books are a complete mess. Jan wants to sort them alphabetically but I won't let him because then all different heights will be dotted around... I like them to go from tallest to shortest. All the Discworld novels are together and in order though.

    1. Haha well, I guess the stock market is pretty boring and ER is definitely one of the greatest shows ever. :)

I totally understand, I would not want to have my books sorted alphabetically either. Then it just would not look good!

    1. Hmm...my book collection is such a mess right now and a lot of it is in boxes...I need to see if I can snap some pictures at some point. I really need to sort through them! :)

  12. I love reading your lists, this one is pretty interesting so far! I used to eat at midnight, but not anymore since I sleep and wake up quite early on a daily basis. I don’t even know how stock market works, my dad used to make me study stock market when I was a kid and I had no idea still. Interesting you like Halloween since it’s coming right up soon! I’m not a fan of holidays, except for my birthday in June! Me either I hardly use fancy teapots and lipsticks, lol!

    1. I am glad you enjoyed reading it, Rika. :) Most times I am not up at midnight either because I tend to get up early. So I am not tempted to eat that much at night. :) I am glad I am not the only only one who does not know how the stock market works. :) I am not a fan of holidays either (not at all), the only one I like is Halloween. :)
