The healing power of cat purrs, a feline teapot and a hot chocolate addiction. {Ten On Tuesday}

Hallo meine Lieben,

how is your week going? Hope you're all doing fantastic. You can link up for Ten On Tuesday on my friend Alyssa's blog

1. Fall is coming...because all I want to drink right now is hot chocolate, made with hazelnut or almond milk.

2. Alyssa posted this Peter Dinklage gif here and it always makes me laugh. And of course you must love him because he fights for animal rights.

3. 50 reasons to adopt a cat. There are definitely more than 50 reasons. But yeah, adopt a cat!

4. This warms my book lover's heart: There will be a new Indriðason novel in December and a new Sigurðardóttir  novel by the end of September. But I am still trying to figure out how long I have to wait for the 6th Carl Mørck case.

5. I need this.

7. The healing power of cat purrs. See 14 ways your cat improves your health here.

8. The cove runs red and it makes me sad and angry. Stupid humanity.

9. Tiffie is doing fine but he always freaks out when I try to apply the salve to his skin. Understandable. He's a brave little guy.

10. On Sunday I will go to a flea market just for books. I am beyond excited.

Have a fantastic week!

  1. That Dinklage gif is awesome! Woohoo for new books--I'm beyond excited. I can't have enough books.

That tea set is so awesome! I've been looking at all sorts of kitty things lately but I'm trying to tell myself I don't need to buy anything. At least not until Christmas :)

  3. Hope you pick up some good books and NOT allergies (I'm known for sneezing up a storm at those jumble book sales)

    1. Haha, Miffy would have been a cute name too. Miffy is so adorable! Tiffie looks a bit weird with his fur missing but he is doing fine!

    1. Hey Miki!
Tiffie is okay, he had some itchy spot under his chin and lost all his fur there. So now he looks a bit weird but he got a shot and some salve and he is doing better! I thought you would love that teapot! <3
      Lots of hugs!

  9. Hi Katrin, thank you for your comments while I'm away! <3 This weekend will be a long one due to Columbus Day, no plans really, just hoping to relax after few days of long tasks to attend to. It didn’t feel like October here, the weather in OR is just odd: 80s in the afternoon, 30s in the evening. Hot chocolate with hazelnut milk sounds super delicious right now, have you ever made hazelnut milk before? I love Peter Dinklage, he did pretty well in Game of Thrones, probably the best role he had so far…A month ago I watched him in another older film, The Station Agent which got him really famous, afterward it was pretty good. Wishing Tiffie well...hope she's ok! Have a lovely time at the flea market <3 hope you find some amazing books!

    1. Thank you for all your comments, Rika! <3 You are so sweet! I hope you are enjoying your weekend! Sometimes it is really nice to have no plans at all! Sounds like you are really having some weird weather! Here it's definitely fall but I am glad that it is still sunny and nice most of the time! I have never made hazelnut milk before...I only bought them in the store. Shame on me! I have never seen this movie but I really like Peter Dinklage so I will check it out! Thanks for your wishes, Tiffie is doing great and back to his normal self again! He is a boy by the way. I named him Tiffie because I thought he was a girl at first! I did find some cool books at the flea market! :) Thank you!
