Ten On Tuesday. A new friend, a runny nose and a heart attack grill.

Hallo meine Lieben,

it's time for another Ten On Tuesday.

Number 1.

My nose is running, I have a headache, I can't sleep, my throat hurts, I look like a month old water corpse, I am either too hot or too cold and I feel a little sorry for myself.

Number 2.

Hello, new friend.

Number 3.

I am searching for a new dress for my friend to protect him from mean scratches. I got one at Target but at home I found out that it covers part of the screen which is not very nice. Any recommendations?

Number 4.

I read the first couple of pages of "Fifty Shades of Grey" and got so bored. I guess I will remain one of the few people who haven't read this book. I can live with it. I am just glad I did not have to pay for the book.

Number 5.

I have a new favorite restaurant. The "Heart Attack Grill" in Las Vegas. They have so many delicious meals...I could not decide what to eat. The have the highest calorie burger in America! And you even eat for free when you weigh more than 350 pounds!

Just kidding. I would not want to eat there. And how about "Over 350 lbs gets free vegetables"?

Number 6.

I am really really jealous of Matthew Bellamy's jacket. Where did he buy it?

Number 7.

The Muse concert was definitely one of the best concerts I have ever been to. And I have been to many. So now I need to see them in Wembley Stadium.

Number 8.

Sometimes I feel like I can't stand all the cruelty in this world anymore. Seriously, what is wrong with people?

Number 9.

Last weekend David and I watched all episodes of "Long way round" in 2 days.  It is a documentary about Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman traveling eastwards from London to New York through Europe, Asia and America. Fascinating. I have read the book and wanted to watch the show so badly! Now we have to watch "Long way down" where they travel from Scotland to South Africa.

Number 10.

Porcupines make me smile.

Have a lovely Tuesday, my friends! And don't get sick!

  1. Ah, love your cute new toy! Have you looked on Etsy for a cute cover? There are plenty! Long way round is amazing - loved watching it! I haven't read the book series either...heard so much negative things about it - I didn't even bother.
Wow, the highest calorie burger...sounds kinda disgusting!

    Feel better, hun! xxx

Glad you liked Long way round too!
And I guess the books are really a waste of time, there are so many good books to read!
Thank you, I already feel better! Hugs!

    4. I am part of the group that's never going to read those books, just not interested.
    5. Really, FREE veggies for people over 350lbs, not very appealing advertising.
    8. Totally get that, specially when it comes to kids, the elderly and animals.
    9. Must look into that, sounds totally something I would like to watch, have u ever watch any of the old Michael Palin shows, love those as well!

  4. Congrats on the new iPad :) Now you just need to figure out how to blog from it!

I have not read 50 Shades and I don't need to, the fact that it is Twilight fan fic is enough for me.

    Have a nice week!

  5. Aw, get better soon...:(

I want to watch that documentary really badly! I won't read "50 Shades". Not interested, I've heard that they're boring and poorly written.

Um, seriously...people wonder why there is an obesity problem in this country? And yet we celebrate this sort of restaurant?! I hear so often that being veggie makes me "unhealthy" from people who are on multiple kinds of blood pressure/diabetic/cholesterol meds, blah blah...I don't think I'm the one with the problem, thankyouverymuch.

The cruelty bugs me too...it bugs you because you have a big heart. <3

You are so lucky to see Muse in concert...and that jacket! Love.

From what I have read I can say it is really terribly written! I won't read more than these couple of pages!
Haha, it is funny that people tell you that being a vegetarian is unhealthy. I guess those people know noting about a healthy diet.
Thanks dear! You have a big heart too! <3
The jacket is really great! Would love to have one like that too!

I've heard of the book "Long way round" but I didn't know there was also a documentary about it! I need to see that :)
That porcupine makes me smile, too - so cute.

  7. Jealous of your new IPAD. ahhhh!

I read about 30 pages of 50 Shades of Grey and stopped. It was dumb. IMO. I sold the book to a used bookstore it was that bad.

    Feel better girl!

  9. Fifty Shades of Grey was so bad! I made myself read it though because I felt like if I didn't, it would always be out there, haunting me. So I powered through the awful writing.

  12. I haven't read 50 shades of grey either! I haven't even tried!

Ewan McGregor has a newish series out as well where he goes to really remote locations to help deliver medicine to children! It looks pretty amazing and also warms the heart a little.

  14. Oh, hope you're feeling great by now! No headaches or runny noses ;).

I'm watching Long Way Round on Hulu! :p There's only one last episode for me to watch. It's a very interesting documentary, although I must confess that I found a couple of episodes a bit boring. I think the second one and then when they get stuck in the middle of Mongolia was it? But I like it. I think I'll watch Long Way Down, too :p.

And that is a neat jacket!

Oh that is so cool you are watching Long Way Round! Woohoo! I like it a lot but I have to say that I thought the first episode was pretty boring! I was waiting for them to start!
I will watch Long Way Down too!

  15. The 50 Shades books were horrendous. Read (more like skimmed) through the first two books but thought so many times about burning them afterwards. As much as I adore all books, these horribly written things shouldnt ever see the light of day.

    Porcupines are so adorable!

And yeah, I won't read more of these books. I already hated the first couple of pages too much and I really don't care what will happen. :)
