Hallo meine Lieben,
yesterday David discovered something really fantastic on the internet. A mix of peanut butter and dark chocolate. That sounds too good to be true but it really exists. We looked at the website of the company that produces this heavenly stuff and found out that the next store that sells it is only a mile away.
Which means that it was time to get out of my ugly pants (comfy pants I only wear at home) put on some fancy clothes and go grocery shopping.
We ended up buying a lot of awesome things ( I think I ate a kilo of watermelon yesterday) and we were lucky to find the peanut butter Nutella awesomeness.
So this was part of my dinner last night.
They sell different types of funny peanut butter but as chocolate lovers we had to get this one. It is certified vegan, gluten free and kosher. What else could you ask for.
And it tastes delicious on fresh baked baguette.
You can find all the different types here. The next one I want to try is definitely Cinnamon Raisin Swirl.
I love to discover new delicious things.
I have a question about watermelons: How do you eat them? Do you spit out the seeds? Or do you remove them before you even start to eat? Or do you just eat them? Like me?
David asked me how I do it yesterday and when I told him that I always eat the seeds he told me that a watermelon will grow in my stomach. That's fine for me because I think it's too much effort to remove all the seeds or spit them out.
As you probably know David's band played on Saturday and it was awesome.
It was so great to see this:
How cool is that? I think it's pretty awesome and I would probably burst with pride if this was my band. I mean, I was already proud that this was David's band. Haha.
And don't they look like rock stars?
And that's how they look on stage. You just have to ignore the terrible quality of the picture, my iPhone doesn't take really good pictures.
How was your weekend?
Have a great Monday, Ihr Lieben!
PS: Mama, I love you & I miss you so much!
peanut butter and dark chocolate? i can imagine that! yumm yumm!
ReplyDeletea guy in a band? do i need to say more? of course it's so freaking cool
It's fabulous! I just can't stop eating! :)
DeleteHaha, no...you don't need to say more!
The Peanut butter chocolate thing we just recently bought too! At Fresh&Easy! So yummmy!
ReplyDeleteSo cool you got the same pb thing! It is delicious! It's kind of sad we didn't discover it earlier. :)
DeleteOhh I would love to try that peanut butter and chocolate! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a weakness for guys in bands too...in fact the guy I like is also in a band!
It is really delicious! I am not sure if you can send stuff like that in the mail....need to find out!
DeleteOh, he is?! I am sure he is awesome! :)
I guess I am a slob, because I am a watermellon seed spitter (I guess I totally made that word up). Your hubby does look like a rock star. How awesome!
ReplyDeleteA watermelon seed spitter sounds awesome! Love the word! :)
DeleteOh, I'll tell him. :)
I love, love, love peanut butter and dark chocolate. (I actually like peanut butter on almost everything - but the combination of pb and dark chocolate is one of my all-time favorites!) I usually just buy both separately and mix them on the bread. So cool David found it online and now you can enjoy it :)
ReplyDeleteAs for the watermelon seeds: it depends if they bother me or not...sometimes I eat them, sometimes I don't.
Great pics of David and his band :)
Ist heute ein bestimmter Tag oder vermisst Du Deine Mama einfach nur ganz besonders?
Ich drücke Dich ganz, ganz fest, liebe Katrin.
I never had that much peanut butter before I met David. I don't know why, it's just not that common in Germany I guess. But I LOOOOVE the combination with dark chocolate! So yummy!
DeleteI always eat the seeds because I am too lazy not to. Haha.
Heute ist ihr Geburtstag. An solchen Tagen vermiss ich sie natürlich besonders! Danke fürs nachfragen, Du bist super!
Ich drück Dich, meine Liebe!
I had peanut butter for the first time when I was in Boston - like you said: it's just not that common here in Germany ;) And I fell in love with it right away. (Hmmm, getting hungry for it now ;)
Och, Du bist so lieb, danke! Das bedeutet mir echt viel!
DeleteIch drück Dich!
...und hungrig bin ich jetzt auch! Gibt bald Abendessen. Bei Dir ist ja eher frühes Frühstück angesagt. :)
Ok, that peanut butter and chocolate thing sounds absolutely delicious! I will definitely need to try that as I love all things nutella. I never had peanut butter growing up- I think it's definitely much more American! I hardly ever eat it, but I do enjoy reese's cups and peanut butter m and m's (see a theme here of peanut butter and chocolate!)- so I know I would love this!
ReplyDeleteYou should really try it! If you like Nutella and peanut butter then you will love this!
DeleteAnd yeah, I really think pb is an American thing. I mean, you can get in in Germany too but people don't really use it. I never had it as a child.
I still think that picture is pretty awesome! How cool that he's in a band!
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear! I like it too. And his band is great!
DeleteNice photographs.
ReplyDeleteAhhh the dark chocolate looks delicious!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's soooo good! I can't get enough!
Deleteomg drool that looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt tastes sooooo gooooood!
DeleteI'll have the watermelon! I love peanut butter and I love chocolate, but I'm not sure I could do them together...but it might just be one of those combinations that you don't 'see' until you actually try it!
ReplyDeleteI ate almost the whole watermelon in 24 hours. Not bad.
DeleteYeah. Chocolate and peanut butter is a great combination. Yummy!
