I want a glittery second wedding ceremony. Award & random facts.

Hallo meine Lieben,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

First of all: Boo NBC for disappointing my husband! You made me really mad yesterday when you did not show one of David's favorite bands (Muse) playing at the closing ceremony of the Olympics. They just cut out parts of the show to annoy us with their stupid commercials. I can't believe it. I mean, that wasn't even live. So they could have stopped the show for the commercials. But no, you cut out the most important part. Good job. Muse was the only band David was excited to see. Pfui.

I was a little disappointed about Take That because Robbie wasn't there (okay, I expected that but still...) and they sang a song I don't care about that much.
But yay for Eric Idle. That was awesome.
I need to learn some Bollywood dancing moves now. Where can I learn that?

David is awesome by the way. He keeps up with all the stupid spontaneous ideas I have. And there are many. Can't say he is excited about them but at least he can live with it.

After seeing the closing ceremony I had the fabulous idea that David and I should have a second wedding ceremony (because we need a reason to wear something fancy) and he should wear the same suit Muse's Matthew Bellamy wore during last night's performance.

That one. A black glittery suit.

And I want to wear a gold glittery dress. Just like the one Kate Moss wore yesterday. Just not from Alexander McQueen because I can't afford that.

Where can we buy something like that? Do you have stupid ideas sometimes?

And if you watched the ceremony: What happened to Liam Gallagher's voice? He sounded weird.
That reminds me that I passed out at an Oasis concert once. And at a Franz Ferdinand concert. But that's another story.

A cool thing happened!!! I got an award from my awesome friend Miki!! Thank you so much, dear! It is such an honor and you absolutely rock!
It's this one:

This means that I have to tell you seven random things about me.

1. I can't directly look into the sunlight because my eyes hurt too much.
2. My first cat's name was Muschi which was a fine name for a cat when I was born. Not so much anymore.
3. I still have my first stuffed animal (a donkey)nand my Mom's first stuffed animal (a bear).
4. I love Krümelmonster.
5. My handwriting is a mess.
6. I love to watch documentaries about animals.
7. Peppermint tea is my favorite.

I nominate all my lovely friends who always leave me such sweet comments! You know who you are!

Have a lovely week.

    1. Haha, at least you saw the Spice Girls! I still can't believe that they cut them out! Such a shame!

  5. I totally missed the closing ceremony :/. We were at my mother-in-law's birthday gathering. I had no idea Take That was performing. And that dress looks amazing, you'd look adorable in it! A second wedding ceremony would be so much fun! I'm still waiting to have my first, haha; not happening anytime soon, unfortunately.

And it was cool to read those 7 random facts about you! I totally disagree about #5, though ;).

Have a fun day, sweet Katrin! ;D

    1. At least you got some birthday cake. :)
I am not so sure if I would look adorable in a glittery dress. But I might have to give it a try!

I tried my best about #5 when I wrote you. You haven't seen my normal handwriting yet, only the fancy one. Haha.

      Have a lovely Tuesday, sweetie!

  6. I heard the NBC broadcast cut out a lot! I think they always do that if the Olympics aren't in the States.... Eric Idye was definitely the best though! ~Stephanie

And I really don't understand why NBC does that. So stupid.
