Sunday Confessions! Give me a blanket and a hot water bottle. please!

Hallo meine Lieben,

I hope you are enjoying your weekend!
I am linking up with the most wonderful Alyx from Every Day Is A New Adventure and here are my confessions.

Confession #1.

I am not normal. Yesterday David played with his band in a bar in Columbus and it was fantastic. But I almost froze to death. I mean it. It was so cold in that bar and they had fans blowing in every corner. It was a nightmare for me. Everybody else seemed to be fine though. There was a girl wearing shorts and a top and she looked like she was totally fine with the temperature. I just don't get it.

Confession # 2.

I packed my two new books in my purse and brought them to the bar because I was so excited about having two new books. But no, I did not end up reading in a bar.

Confession # 3.

I have a heating blanket and I am not ashamed to use it. Even when I look like an idiot wearing it. It feels so good.

Confession # 4.

I found a recipe for vegan cookie dough ice-cream and now I need to buy an ice-cream machine.

Confession # 5.

I really hope that Erik will kill Bill tonight at the True Blood season finale. I love season finales because I am pretty sure that something exciting will happen. But I also hate season finales because that means that I won't be able to watch True Blood for a while.
I can't wait to see more Breaking Bad tonight! This show is so awesome.

I hope you guys are having a wonderful Sunday!
What are your confessions?

  1. I hope Erik kills Bill, too! Bill's character has gotten so ridiculous lately, I almost want to stop watching. I said almost. :) Can't wait to see what the show will bring for tonight! :) Happy Sunday!

  2. Oh cool that David played another concert and you got to see it :) That's awesome! And I totally understand you froze so much - I tend to freeze in bars too. It can be quite cold in some of them.
Would you mind sharing the vegan cookie dough ice-cream recipe with us? That sounds delicious and I'm curious how it's made :)
I hope you're having a wonderful and relaxed Sunday, dear Katrin.
    Ich drücke Dich ganz fest!

    1. Yeah, it was pretty awesome. And it looks like they will play another one soon!
I don't understand why it has to be that cold in bars. That's not very comfortable. I don't want to drink cold drinks when it is freezing cold in a bar. :)
Oh yeah, I will look it up and share it with you! I really want to try that recipe!
Have a wonderful week, my dear!

  3. You always being cold reminds me of my mom, she's always cold in any place that has a lower temperature of 76 haha. I'm not liking Bill very much right now cause he's being a bit of a douche but I dont want him to die...yeah, I might not be very popular for saying it out-loud :/

    1. Haha, yeah...that's exactly how I am too. I even get cold in the freezer section of the supermarket.
I want him to die! And I sound totally mean now but I kind of hated him from the beginning so I think now is a good time to get rid of him. But I am pretty sure they won't kill him off!

  6. That's unusual for it to be cold at a concert. I find that it's usually boiling with no air conditioner.

    1. They had fans everywhere and air conditioning. So that was really bad for me! :(

  7. Were you drinking at the bar? I feel like people were probably warm because they were intoxicated - that always seemed to be the case with me when I still drank - I'd get really warm.

And that vegan ice cream sounds delicious - I say run to the store and buy an ice cream machine ASAP!

    1. No, I did not drink. I guess you are right and I should have started drinking. :) Maybe I should just be drunk every day and then I would never have to worry about being cold again. :)

Yeah, I think I really need an ice-cream machine. I always wanted to have one!

  8. haha I don't think anyone is "normal" :)
but I love that you took your books with you, because they were new.

I have done that too. not just with books, with anything new. It's just like I want the option of pulling it out of my bag and looking at it if I want to!

  9. Hahaha, you're so funny, Katrin! I always seem to be colder than the rest, but I think you win by far, haha.

And I say yes to the ice cream maker! :P

    Have an awesome week, girl!

    1. I am a human ice cube...:) And I really don't know why. I have a huge collection of warm clothes, blankets, socks, scarves, hot water bottles. It is ridiculous.

      Yay ice cream maker! :))

Have a wonderful week, my dear Miki!

  10. When I have a new book that I can't stop reading, I bring it with me everywhere. You never know when you have a spare five minutes to read for a bit... even in a bar :)

  11. I feel the same way about AC places, I always bring a sweater to the Movie theater even in the middle of summer because without a doubt it is too cold for me. And go on with your bad self and use that heated blanket. I so wish I had one. Every winter I say I should buy one and then I never do. Argh... Maybe this will be the year.

    1. Yeah, I totally agree. I never go to a movie theater without a sweater and a scarf. I just don't understand why it's so damn cold in there.
You should really get a heated blanket. It's like heaven. :) You won't regret it!
