Sunday confessions! Batman, yoga, roadies and Awkward.

Hallo meine Lieben,

I am linking up with wonderful Alyx from Every Day Is A New Adventure!
I hope you are all having a great Sunday!

1. I have a new addiction (Still addicted to corn on the cob.). I am absolutely obsessed with "Awkward". Thank you, Alissa! :) This show makes me laugh so much. The characters are hilarious. I don't even have a favorite character because they are all so great....but I think Tamara and Valerie makes me laugh the most.
I did one of these absolutely reliable tests one the internet and it says I am Tamara. I have my doubts.

2.  I hate driving at night. I can barely see and I am always scared that an animal could run over the street.

3. I have watched "The Dark Knight Rises" yesterday and it was great. Just two things I did not like very much. (Okay SPOILER. Don't read the first point if you haven't seen the movie yet.) You let a fusion bomb detonate over the ocean, maybe a kilometer away from town and everybody is happy and there are no consequences? I doubt it. And then: Sometimes it was really really hard for me to understand Bane. First I thought it was just because I am a foreigner but my sister-in-law Katie didn't understand him either. And she's American. A couple of times I had to ask David "What did he say?"...even Batman was hard to understand from time to time.

4. I got free entry and drinks at the festival yesterday because I said "yes" when a guy asked me if I was from a band. I mean, I am the wife of a band member so that basically means "I am from a band". Right? Or do I have to feel bad? He did not specify the question, he did not ask if I play in a band. I carried David's bass so I was basically a roadie. And they belong to the band.

5. I was totally shocked yesterday because I don't fit into my favorite dress anymore. That's a little depressing and I think I might have to start running and yoga again.

Have a lovely Sunday!

  2. Awkward is great! I don't usually like teenage angst shows but that one is really funny :)

Yoga is always good...both for weight loss and to keep yourself healthy and youthful looking! Try something fun like aerial yoga to keep yourself motivated :)

  6. have not heard of 'awkward' but I'll check it out.

I kind of sick of hearing about the batman movie but I'll still going watch it although never on the big screen because they have no subtitles on the big screen.

hope you have a great day.

It was really hard to understand the villain! I had my problems and I definitely have to watch the movie with subtitles again. :)

    1. I have watched "The Dark Knight" the night before we watched the new one. I think it is good to know all the characters. I have only read the recap of the movie before that.
I will go and check out your blog now. :)
      Thanks for stopping by!

  9. Yay for free drinks! And you were totally entitled to it, in my opinion, hehe ;).

I hate it when actors mumble and it's hard to understand what they say :/. Funny thing, some Spanish and Mexican seem to be spoken in a completely different language to me. I'm a native Spanish speaker but every now and then can't get shit, haha.

Hope you have an awesome week! ;D

    1. Haha, thanks Miki! That makes me feel better.

There are so many German dialects and sometimes it is hard to understand them. And I have even more problems with English. :)

      Have a wonderful week, Miki!

  11. I totally agree with your two points what you didnt like about batman.

I had a really hard time understanding Bane as well. He had a weird voice and not seeing the lips moving made it even harder. During the movie, I also thought it was just me, but Brad also didnt understand a lot of it.

I thought it was crazy too, that he just droped the bomb in the water and everything was golden. What about the environmental implications, that would for sure have global influences. Plus, it said earlier that the blast radius was 6 miles and it didnt really look like he was that far out.

Whatever. We are talking about a movie where a guy dresses up as a bat and him, alfred and fox built an insane underwater cave, so how realistic does it have to be :D

    Cheers,
    Miss Sugar Shack

    1. I am so glad I am not the only one who doesn't understand Bane. I think I really have to watch the movie again. With subtitles. :) It is good to know that even Americans don't understand him very well. :)

And yeah, the bomb....that was really stupid. I mean, come on, when he dropped it it wasn't really far away from the coast. And I am sure there are many consequences when you do it. I mean, there is life in the water too!

But yeah, the whole movie isn't about being realistic. :)
